If Gringori finish last where will Sowore finish then? DomPerignon: This would have been a formidable challenge to Tinubu but since Giringori is going to repeat his foolishness of 2023 by hoarding SE votes, it's going to be Tinubu all over again like in 2023 only that this time around the Christian vote in the north will be going to Tinubu , SS will vote heavily of Tinubu and the SW is going to give Tinubu near 100%. Tinubu will do constitutionally very well in the NW and NE .
Giringori will come a distant last with his tribal votes from the SE and forever cement the fact that SE votes are not required to seek the Presidency as long as you can get them to vote a tribal candidate of theirs. |

Yes...eg Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan fergie001: When they elevated you to the Supreme Court in 2011, why did you refuse to go? Instead you chose to leave the Judiciary rather than go to the Supreme Court to show that your expertise. Now, you didn't go to the Supreme Court and as President of the Appeal Court, you as well as Kayode Ariwoola then In the Appeal Court were directly accused of procuring judgements for Aregbesola (Osun) and Fayemi (Ekiti).
Milord Justice Salami, you know the principle of stare decisis means you should not be discussing issues like this. You can recall Sir, it was because of that strong allegation that Kayode Ariwoola's elevation to the Supreme Court was delayed.
It was because of the allegation of helping the ACN that for the first time the Supreme Court & NASS changed the rule to ensure that Governorship elections go higher to the Supreme Court and not end at the Appeal Court like before 2011.
Milord, I also hope you are conversant with the Electoral Act 2022 that persons outside those who participated in the Primary should not be challenging same, an age-long principle even when you were at the Appeal Court as far as 2007, membership issues are non-jurisdictional. Are you aware Sir that forgery has been removed from the Electoral Act 2026? Justice Salami, are you aware that some people are in their positions in the NASS without participating in their parties' respective primaries? |

Politics › Re: Court Documents Show Dangote’s Attempt To ‘monopolize’ Petroleum Industry by Rico96(m): 9:15pm On Nov 07, 2024 |
WorkTheTalk: Nigeria is a conglomerate of illiterates, courtesy of the thiefing political class. When the corrupt politicians pretend to be on the side of the masses to keep looting the treasury, you hear them accusing people like Dangote of monopoly in the oil sector, whereas for over 30 years, they kept stealing the money meant for fixing the refineries to produce the fuel locally. They use the same stolen money to import fuel, and collect subsidy benefits.you really show your little mind in things that matter... question is how is local products more expensive than imported products? FG made excuse of subsidy and how cable is running it imported products to neighbouring countries, right now no subsidy and Dangote is giving us burden to make our refinery works like is his business. Let's import it and let him sell his own market force will definitely goes for cheaper product unlike milking the nation in the name of being patriotic
When did Dangote stop NNPC from fixing the refinaries, or approving private companies to build new refinaries to produce fuel locally for a fair market competition? Dangote knows is right as a local producer, and he has approached the court. Whoever believes that Dangote is aiming at the so-called monopoly in the oil sector should approach the cout too.
How can someone produce goods locally, and you import same product to sell in the same market, and call that competition? Don’t be fooled by all the noise from NNPC and all its affiliates. They want to turn Nigerians against Dangote so they can keep importing fuel, and steal from the treasury in the name of subsidy.
If the oil giants are afraid of oil sector monopoly by Dangote, let them build refineries, and produce fuel locally. They have crude oil locally to produce fuel.
Every sane person knows that the best economy is when there is local production, rather than importation. Even the thiefing politicians know this, but they will try all means to control Dangote, or blackmail him to support their reason for continuous fuel importation. |
