The United Arab Emirates has identified the terrorist co-pilot of flydubai flight FZ1073 as Hamam al-Hammami. UAE officials said al-Hammami, an Omani national, used the plane’s emergency crash ax to attack Capt. Smit Machchhar, with the intent of killing him and then perpetrating a terrorist attack by crashing the aircraft. Al-Hammami had reportedly been denied employment with other regional airlines due to his radical jihadist views. It remains unclear why he was cleared to fly by flydubai, particularly on a flight to Israel.

IDF: The IDF reveals: 170 of those killed during the war, who were presented to the world as innocent journalists, were also military operatives in terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip Following extensive research, the IDF now reveals that 170 Gazans who were presented as innocent journalists and media personnel were in fact military operatives in the military wings of various terrorist organizations, primarily Hamas and the Islamic Jihad. The IDF is now making public the 170 individuals and publishing verified evidence, including visual materials and documents produced by the terrorist organizations themselves and recovered by IDF troops during operations in Gaza exposing their terrorist affiliations and roles within terrorist organizations. Time and time again throughout the war, various media outlets in the international community accused the State of Israel and the IDF, without verified data or findings, of deliberately targeting journalists, even when, in some cases, the terrorist organizations themselves claimed those individuals as their own and identified them as military operatives. The information currently presented illustrates the gap between the picture portrayed to the world and the reality on the ground, and further demonstrates additional conclusive evidence that the IDF does not deliberately and systematically target journalists, but rather operates against terrorist organizations and their military operatives, in accordance with international law. Flydubai flights will be suspended starting tomorrow morning for six days. In their place, Israeli airlines will operate repatriation flights with enhanced security. Retired Navy pilot Matthew “Whiz” Buckley revealed today that the hijacked flydubai flight exceeded its maximum operating speed by a staggering 100 knots while plunging 20,000 feet in just 30 seconds. But just how extreme is that? An additional 100 knots is approximately 185 km/h (115 mph). According to Buckley’s account, the Boeing 737 MAX 8 was flying that much faster than its maximum operating speed. The Danger: Commercial jets are built tough, but they have operating limits. Exceeding those limits can increase the risk of structural damage and flutter - dangerous aerodynamic vibrations that can potentially cause catastrophic failure. THE MIRACLE: If these reported figures are accurate, surviving such a rapid descent and recovering safely is extraordinary. The fact that the passengers and crew reportedly managed to subdue the attacker, allowing the pilots to recover from the dive, is an absolute miracle
