Beirut and the Dahieh district with the entry of the cease-fire. About 250 evacuation notices were issued in Beirut, with the vast majority directed towards buildings in the Dahieh district. In the center of Beirut and in the areas further south, only a few alerts were distributed. In terms of the attacks themselves after the warnings, together with buildings that were attacked without prior warning, we have reached over 300 buildings that have been demolished or damaged since the beginning of the war in the Beirut area. Including Nasrallah's bunker complex. For comparison, in the Second Lebanon War in 2006, more than 180 buildings were damaged, but in a smaller area in the center of the Dahieh. (Ben Tzion Macales) |

The ceasefire began at 4:00AM. While Hezbollah gave up on shooting already at 10:30PM last night, ISRAEL continued to strike until minutes before 4:00PM. IDF forces are deployed in their positions in southern Lebanon. IDF will still be in Lebanon for the next 60 days - interesting how Hezbollah okay’d this… |

After a year of fighting, Hezbollah has lost its leader, its entire top leadership, most of its weapons depots, all its pagers, thousands of terrorist fighters and control of Lebanon’s southern border with Israel. Was it really worth to tie their cause to Hamas’ on Oct. 8th? |

Three takeaways from Netanyahu’s statement last night: 1) The ceasefire was forced on Israel by the Biden admin by continuing the arms embargo of much-needed arms 2) Big picture: Israel is going after the source - Iran. Full speed ahead after Trump takes office 3) Netanyahu and Israel are waiting for Trump to take office (hence 60 days time frame in the deal) |

The full American guarantee letter we revealed tonight: - Israel and the US intend to share sensitive intelligence concerning violations, including any infiltration by Hezbollah into the Lebanese army - The US may share information provided by Israel with agreed third parties (the Lebanese government and/or the commission) to allow them to address the violation - The United States is obligated to cooperate with Israel in order to curb Iran's destabilizing activities in Lebanon, including preventing the transfer of weapons, affiliates, and others from Iranian territory - The United States recognizes Israel's right to respond to threats coming from Lebanese territory in accordance with international law - In the southern region - Israel reserves the right to act at any time against violations of the commitments - Outside the southern region, Israel reserves the right to act against the development of threats directed against it, if Lebanon is unable or unwilling to thwart these threats: including the introduction of illegal weapons into Lebanon through borders and crossings - If Israel decides to take such measures, it will inform the United States of this wherever possible - Israeli flights over Lebanon will be conducted for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance purposes only, and will not be visible to the unarmed eye as much as possible, and will not break the sound barrier |
