Quite sad. I don't know if this will make sense or work, instead of the usual burning/destruction of the offending party property/properties a mechanism should be put in place whereby 30/35percnt of the total profit earned monthly for a period of 1,2,5 or 10 years should be given to the victim/victims depending on severity of the incident. That way the offending party won't have to lose their source/sources of income and the victim/victims or family hae something to cushion the impact of the loss of their loved ones even though no amount of money will replace a loved one |

loneprof: They would have to make nurses, health technicians, lab scientists the same offer too then, not just doctors. Even the hospital cleaners and security are at risk of Covid-19.
Everything is just happening based on the failure of leadership over the years... You are right |
Health › Re: Consider Your Safety, Senior Physicians Warn 58 Uk-bound Doctors by RIHMEEK(m): 9:08am On Jul 19, 2020 |
loneprof: Actually, I thought of that. Unless the UK government is stealing doctors through a backdoor arrangement, there's no other solid basis for them to leave.
Then again, they could still deny them of their rights if they die prematurely from Covid-19. I just feel they can always wait till after the pandemic. Doctors are hot cake all over the world. You are right but then again this move will make both the states and fg to sit up |

loneprof: As they're going illegally, tell me how they want to pay them 60k pounds without papers.
We already know that Nigerian government and the politicians that make up the government have been irresponsible, it's not doctors alone who are affected, it is everyone; lawyers, accountants etc. Nobody can stop anyone from leaving, but if you want to leave, leave with common sense. Do you really think that amount of medical personnels will leave without a solid arrangements? |

See what colonialism has made you think of yourself?
If you have problems, be they corruption, nepotism or whatever, you SOLVE THEM YOURSELVES, however long it takes. You don't go inviting people from thousands of miles away to come and colonize you. That's why there's a "Maybe" in my response to him |
