I have no sympathy for this kind at all. Thieves are unrepentant, a pardon only guarantees that they'll be back to inflict more vicious attacks on society. Let the law take its full course and serve as a deterrent to those who prey on innocents by inflicting physical and emotional scars.

If you've ever had someone you know get killed like a ram and feel helpless only to have sweep their blood for hours (Jeez, the human body sure has a lot of blood in it)then you'll have no pity on criminals. If you had to watch your female relatives get raped while you are at gun point then you'll understand that this is a scourge to be eliminated from our society.

If the Government cannot protect the citizenry then it's time we legalized firearms in Nigeria.

The issue here is not whether English is our first language or not, it's about Coherence. For your information English is our national language a common denomintor through which Hausa, Yoruba and Ibo communicate outside the confines of tribal languages. The very essence of our being one Nigeria is the English language.

For someone holding the exhalted office of the First Lady of Nigeria it is expected that such a person should be able to communicate clearly and intelligently, which has not been the case with Mrs Jonathan.

What stops her from communicating through an interpreter if English is not a priority to her. As bad as the education system is in Nigeria i'm sure even you will be dissapointed in a graduate who cannot express him or herself coherently, much less the First Lady of the federation.

Go and check out the first ladies of Ghana and other African countries, English is also not their first language. Some do not possess a doctorate Like Mrs Jonathan but the understand the importance of proper communication as a national leader. This is totally unacceptable and a ridicule to our nation in the eyes of the world.

We need to stop making excuses for everything in Nigeria.

If you are a devoted christian as you say and dont believe in sex before marriage, then you should reach a compromise with guys rather than making it all about your christianity. You have issues that require you to be less assertive and needy towards your partner (most hollier than thou girls who don't date much have this problem). Be less aggressive and more submissive ok.

wow, so this thread is still alive( its like nairaland just got dynamic again), it's been three years since i started this thread and the topic above goes without saying, Most Girls Love Bad Guys! Like someone said, not a bad as in "bad" but naughty, spontaneous, daring and fun.

I would like to kick off by advising those seeking a carrer in the oil & gas sector to ensure they have good grades (at least a 2.1). Courses like Geology and Engineering are good choices here. A good knowledge of theoretical and practícal aspects of your course is essential. Practice tests like GMAT and those offered at SHL.com could be quite helpful if one is called to write tests.
