Mr. Peter Obi demonstrated perhaps the most visible example of his strength of character lacking in most Nigerian politicians during his impeachment saga. The process was long and grueling. Many prominent Anambra elders urged him to “settle” the House members to retain his position. Even President Olusegun Obasanjo invited him and advised him to make peace by appeasing the Assembly. But Obi stood his ground. He told Obasanjo plainly: “I would rather leave office doing the right thing than remain in office by doing the wrong thing.” That moment defined his character. It’s one of the reasons Obasanjo continues to respect and support him to this day. True strength is not in flexing muscles or dominating opponents. Real strength is standing firm on principles—even when your position, your reputation, or your comfort is at stake. |
Many people today seem to view strength primarily through the lens of strong male characters in movie scripts. But real-life leadership demands a different kind of strength—moral strength. Mr. Peter Obi demonstrated perhaps the most visible example of this during his impeachment saga. People from that zone that never manage anything successfully or bring progress because they rely on only lies, propaganda and backward tribalism instead of hard work , honesty and innovation. Everything they touch never grows but turns to ashes…Nigeria is gone to the dogs |
The actions of the worst president in Nigerian history will eventually collapse the entire country and there would be no Nigeria anymore. The lawlessness and destruction of institutions that ensures government is constitutional is now alarming and out of hand |

Tinubu hand don touch dem come change everything their parents told dem about Nigeria. I don’t like tinubu but if you get tinubu handshake your life will never remain the same cos I heard he no Dey look money give person right from before he joined politics. If he give you the kind of handshake he gave Mahmoud and SC justices you no go only belong an APC loyalist overnight but enroll for evening school and start learning Yoruba and how to dobale same evening. I only feel for the ones fighting for him online and on the streets that do not have opportunity of such handshake 😀😀😀😀😀 |
Softmirror:Very good question asked and how I wished somebody will ask soludo that question anytime he starts his Lamba about HE Peter Obi |
MartinCorridon:All the people who berated him back then are now with him today including Aremu Obasanjo. What does that tell you about him? |
Softmirror:Exactly because it is an admission from him that he is arresting only igbo criminals but not Fulani criminals |
If Lawrence Anini wasn’t executed in 1986 , still alive and a Yoruba. The way they would have hyped him up would suprise anyone who care about ethical societal standards for a better society and country. You would have been reading articles from them like “ Lawrence Anini the gold standards of criminality in Nigerian politics” once he is vying for elections. They don’t care about good governance as long as the person is from their side |
Cocaine sale he day, land sale he Dey , corrupt politics he Dey ….what does he have for the masses in terms of fighting insecurity and improving the economy? |
helinues:Normal lies and propaganda |
One million is still less than $700 and that s your annual income so by UN standards you are still below poverty threshold |

helinues:Na you fund the last one he contested? |
These people wake up their Obas in the morning with sliding tackles and correct beatings..,no respect for their traditional institutions . I remember the late Abiola Ajimobi begging them more than 10 years ago to have respect for elders and constituted authorities but all fell on deaf ears sadly |
Disenfranchised:Exactly! The unpredictability and that he is mentally ahead of them causes them daily stress |
Every inconsequential ant now seeking few minutes of fame by mentioning Obi name…smh |
