You have NOT been vindicated. Infact, you just further embarrassed yourself.

In addition, where was Awolowo mentioned in the screenshot you posted?

The newspaper article he posted and the US classified document both confirmed that Gowon and Ojukwu were responsible. Like goodvibes mentioned, it stated that Gowon wanted food to be delivered via land and NOT air, but Ojukwu declined hence the kwashiorkor that followed. If you meant food blockade, then the blame lies even mostly with Ojukwu for refusing food to pass through via land borders

Good thing is that You have gone from a document does not exist, to it exist, and you still somehow how to slot an awolwo that does not exist into the classified document. You are improving on your learning.

Politics / HOW BRITAIN’S LABOUR GOVERNMENT FACILITATED THE MASSACRE OF BIAFRANS IN NIGERIA by rinzaugustine: 1:52am On Apr 12
On the 50th anniversary of the end of the Biafran war, the world’s worst humanitarian crisis in the late 1960s, declassified British files show that Harold Wilson’s government secretly armed and backed Nigeria’s aggression against the secessionist region.

The then Labour government secretly provided large quantities of arms to the Nigerian federal government which, by early 1970, had crushed an attempt by the country’s eastern region of Biafra to gain independence, which it had declared in May 1967.
During the three years of war, up to three million people died, as Nigeria enforced a blockade on Biafra, causing widespread starvation amid considerable international opposition to the conflict.
British policy was mainly shaped by its oil interests, declassified government documents from the time show. “Our direct interests are trade and investment, including an important stake by Shell/BP in the eastern region,” the Foreign Office noted a few days before the outbreak of the war in 1967.
Investments by Shell/BP—then a joint company in Nigeria which was partly owned by the British government—amounted to around £200-million at the time. The company was the largest producer of oil in Nigeria, most of which was in Biafra.
Shell “have much to lose if the FMG [federal military government] do not achieve the expected victory,” George Thomas, Labour’s commonwealth minister, noted in August 1967. He added: “The sole immediate British interest in Nigeria is that the Nigerian economy should be brought back to a condition in which our substantial trade and investment in the country can be further developed, and particularly so we can regain access to important oil installations.”
UK supplies of arms — which eventually enabled the Nigerian government to win the war — included millions of rounds of ammunition, hundreds of machine guns and grenades, thousands of mortar and artillery bombs, aircraft and armoured personnel carriers.
These supplies were massively stepped up while Labour Prime Minister Harold Wilson was telling parliament that Britain was supplying arms to Nigeria at the same level as before. He made the false claim that there was “no special provision” for the war.
The decisions to supply arms and ammunition were taken at a time when it was clear they were being used against civilians. Wilson’s agreement to supply patrol boats in 1967 was done in the knowledge that this would help the government maintain the sea blockade against Biafra.

Even Nnamdi Azikwe knew that France was supplying the rebels with ammunition via aid/food planes.

lol somebody made this comment “Goodvibes007:

Gowon and Ojukwu according to US declassified document were responsible for the starvation of Ibo kids. Nothing to do with Awolowo.

Ojukwu was using aid planes to fly in ammunition. Gowon said no fly zone and said all aids/food should be via land borders. Ojukwu said no. Kids starved and he called the camera crew to snap pictures and use it as propaganda.”

I then asked him what US source he was that he started yarning dust screenshoting another story an opinion of the writer and now Zik…goes to emphasize the same thing we have been saying that Agbado no get sense..imagine small pikin lie without source that cannot even deceive a six year old child is what Agbado sees as sense…smh

Lol senseless idiots coveting Niger delta oil from their remote villages…Ojukwu released awolowo from calabar prison and he not only betrayed south south but caused economic blockade that resulted in millions of deaths of innocent minorities in the south south in 1968 .He ensured relief planes and vehicles bringing in food from Gabon and Cameron was bombed and killed because in his perverted sense he believed any southern not Yoruba is an igbo, the same mindset MC oloma used to injure and kill with his thugs innocent people from south south who went to vote in 2023 thinking they were igbos but the animals will still pay for their sins…bunch of useless idiots.. Awolowo even though his body they wanted to embalm had rottened within months because he poisoned himself. Today all his male children are useless drunkards because the evil he committed is still haunting them from generation to generation. …Fajuyi who abandoned Aguiyi Ironsi but was killed while trying to jump fence is 1000 times better than the useless awolowo

I don’t think he came back to life like they rumored earlier because it is medically impossible for a human being to lay at the bottom of the river ( before local marine divers rescued him) for 2 hour + and still be alive. When I saw him brought out rigor mortis had already set in as his hands and legs are already frozen to the original position he died in. The bigger issue then comes to the fact that in Nigeria they have minsters, commissioners , directors, heads etc from the federal to sometimes local government level who receive billions annually and are charged with overseeing the inland water ways because thousands of Nigerians commute through these routes daily. What do they do with the billions ? Making life jackets compulsory for such trips is what is obtainable in decent societies but in Nigeria you won’t even find them in office and when they are there would be drinking beer with plates of pepper soup and watching TV

My brother even Igbo Politicians are not allowing free and fair elections in our region the blame goes round. Abia PDP did not allow free and fair election for 24 year same thing in other states. See Hope Uzodimma of Imo state over his dead body to allow free and fair election. But there is hope we shouldnt give up.
Yes they have been rigging local government elections since 1999 but the most important one which is the governorship and house of assembly is outside their power as federal INEC conducts those ones. If it was free and fair a nuisance like uzodimma would not even win local government elections

paramakina202:

You do not expect your enemies who want to defeat you at all cost to be nice you. Even Ojukwu refused to condemn Awo's actions during the war.
very true my brother and Nigeria in particular and black race in general are still suffering from that action because more than 50 years after they still cannot fix Nigeria due to their fear for igbos and igbos turning their backs on anything politics or government…drawing analogy from a kitchen Nigeria is like a kitchen that has the best ingredients and utensils but kept hiring cooks who cannot even boil water to run it over the years they have totally damaged that kitchen but to a competent igbo person anything about money (economy) is like a cake walk for him. If you see a 6 year old igbo boy left in the shop by the mother to go to market you can never cheat him. If you give him 1k and take 10 different items he will still give you the correct change. Only thing an igbo man has been asking is free and fair elections to be able to vote in leaders like Okpara, mbakwe, Sullivan chime, Obi, ngige etc that will make igboland look like Qatar or Johannesburg and leave the others to die in their hatefulness with the kind of leaders they deserve
Politics / Re: Obi’s Borehole Commissiong: No Death, Trauma Nor Injury - Mahdi Shehu. by rinzaugustine: 5:11pm On Apr 10
Obi have always maintained right from his time as governor that ordinary Nigerians are his political structures and not politicians or political parties . The influence political parties have on their office holders is like that of university cult on a teenage member. A cult member can come to an event and go to greet his weed smoking cult members first before the parents. Tinubu might have good economic policies but party stalwarts will not allow that dream see light of the day because they want their own gigantic dreams fulfilled first, reason why Nigeria is in a sorry state from independence. Based on Obi record achievements as Anambra governor, a recipient of countless national and international awards for his extraordinary stewardship during his tenure as governor of anambra when he remains an iconic hero 10 years after leaving power and till today, catapulting Labor party from obscurity to national stardom and now main opposition without spending shishi to the chagrin of the “big” political parties, his presidential manifesto, his fanatic defense of those potential policies portrays Obi to a discerning mind as a president who if last election was not grossly manipulated would have inspired the whole world to believe in what Nigeria is capable of doing …top notch security, instead of funding politics which today is the biggest and most useless venture our political office holders invest in and which makes ordinary Nigerians useless; Obi will instead fund ordinary Nigerians and the multiplier effect , job and business opportunities it will create, coupled with our large population will rattle the whole world, pump billions into farmers that most young men will dream of becoming farmers and national news will be like “..section of Nigerians worried about excessive display of wealth by Nigerian farmers..” “…bbn naija star dumps boyfriend for wealthy farmer mallam Zaki in zungeru “…, same independent power supply that happened in Aba will be happening simultaneously in Ibadan, oshogbo, Kano, Warri, katsina, calabar etc Nigerians will start establishing mini power plants to solve electricity problems , thousands mini refineries even if one refines 5 liters of crude a day…the end goal of Nigerians taking charge of their own country courtesy of government backing is achieved . Aba will be exporting to west Africa wears and shoes instead of importing from China, railways to Niger republic and other African countries will be used to export excess food from north. Security will increase and clean up Niger delta to increase oil production and revenue to up to 5m bpd even if it means leaving opec for sometime, using government backing to build massive manufacturing and industrial parks in south west which will utilize independent power, use locally sourced raw materials and to Nigeria into the top industrial and export hub in Africa, that way nobody cares about the dollar , even if it falls to 80 naira nobody cares . Education trust funds and scholarships will be established for people that want to study overseas or locally and you will see agitation, tribalism, religious riots, rituals killings, kidnapping, armed robbery etc die a natural death and Nigerians in diaspora will start coming back home. A new Nigeria is possible with Peter Obi!
