I still don't understand how Nigerian youths cry unemployment. You can literally go on YouTube right now and learn ANY SKILL FOR FREE, within a matter of weeks or even days. Learn, it and then start offering the services as a business person. What skills? Web Design, Fancy Bakery, Bar B Q Grilling, Computer Repair, Accounting, Event Management, Interior Design, Import/Export, I mean....every damn skill, man. FREE OF CHARGE. So why not learn a skill, hustle some starting capital, however small, and take off? But no. Every day na Buhari this Buhari that. |
Dammyrosky:My friend go and sit down. This whole excuse of ''we cannot be a developed country SINCE we are not a developed country'' is lazy and redundant. Nigeria is a developing country. You will NOT have that 'conducive environment' El Dorado you demand before you can be productive. Of Indians can create all sorts of apps, SO CAN YOU. There is no problem we have in Nigeria which they don't have in India, from power cuts to corruption, to nepotism, tribalism etc. Yet they do stuff regardless. You must be proactive. Take one step at a time, and stay the course. If the idea is good, eventually you will blow. |
thebosstrevor1:There is an Indian one called kooo (it's actually a double o, bit this site rejects the word). They are making inroads into Nigeria in the light of the Twitter ban. They are doing some very aggressive moves as we speak. |
chicoMX:I'm more concerned by the mayhem and killings caused by Nnamdi Kanu via his vile utterings on Twiter, which incidentally have now been deleted by the platform. Before you can talk business, you need a peaceful environment. |
mrvitalis:Dude, are you cursed? What brings Buhari into this debate? How did Buhari stop you from using your brain? Why not just admit you are a dunce instead of fishing for silly excuses? |
Ever8090:BRILLIANT. The first sensible response so far. Shame it took so long. ![]() |
mrvitalis:I am not a northerner. Stop diverting the topic away from your own laziness and uselessness. |
Nbote:But I am not crying over Twitter. YOU are. So it is YOU who feels the pain point as business people term it. YOU should be the one feeling inspired to build a 'Twitter' type of app. LEAVE the President and politicians out of this. They have provided you, and millions of other Nigerians, with the EDUCATION to excel. So USE IT. |
KaluwisxPRO:Sorry, he was voted into office. You have to wait for elections to replace him, and if you can't, tough luck. |
PeaceforNigeria:Frustated wastrel crying for Twitter. No Twitter for you. Use your dead brain and build your own. |
thebosstrevor1:I honestly believe they can. There are many master programmers in Nigeria that can build just about any type of application. But they are not business people, so they struggle to monetize their creativity. We need young business people to work with them to release digital products to the market. |
LegalPornShot:Stop making your innovation and creativity dependent on what OTHERS do first. That is a sign of laziness. |
chicoMX:Why is Buhari your EXCUSE for laziness and uselessness? |
Una no get brain? You so-called educated Nigerian youths that should see Twitter's ban as an OPPORTUNITY to use your own brains to develop a platform, are too busy shouting and abusing Buhari for banning Twitter, to employ your own creativity and innovation. After all it was in this same Nigeria that some Lagos boys developed Paystack, which was later bought by Stripe for 200 million dollars. So what is stopping you from building a 'Twitter' app, instead of crying that the FG took away business from oyinbo people? Are you cursed to depend on whites all your lives? Are you really a wasted, useless, hopeless, dependent generation? |
Officialgarri:Even worse, the so-called educated Nigerian youths that should see Twitter's ban as an OPPORTUNITY to use their own brains to develop a platform, are too busy shouting and abusing Buhari for banning Twitter, to employ their own creativity and innovation. Wasted, useless, dependent generation. |
Icumsa45:Rather a slave to One Nigeria than a slave to ONE CON MAN. |
AgeneAngel86:Are you saying he was a 'Fulani slave'? ![]() ''Buhari Discussed Unity of Nigeria With My Father — Ojukwu jnr'' First son of late Biafran warlord, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, Emeka Ojukwu, Jr. yesterday said President Muhammadu Buhari was right in his broadcast speech that he discussed the unity and indivisibility of the Nigerian nation with his late father. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/08/buhari-discussed-unity-nigeria-father-ojukwu-jnr/ ![]() |
Authoreety:Err yes... https://nigeriaworld.com/images/news/big/politics/buhari-ojukwu220.jpg |
SweetiliciousD:Where was the above picture in the 16 years Nigeria was under PDP rule, which was SOUTHERN RULE, in which you just looted and looted, and looted, and the Fulanis were powerless? WHY NO AHMADU BELLO PICTURE THEN? Why didn't the SOUTH restructure Nigeria in those 16 years in power? But it is the NORTH, which has the least to gain from restructuring, that you are insisting must do it via Buhari, a sworn nationalist? Failing which you break up Nigeria? Are you crazy? Why not wait for the next elections in a year an half when it would be the south's turn to rule according to the long respected rotation policy? THEN you can restructure Nigeria. Don't expect a Fulani administration to lead the way in this. That's your job. |
spearman:Honestly. Even in Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Benin, Jos, an Igbo person will become a foreigner, easy to be harassed and beaten by anyone, especially police. If they think Nigerian police is bad to them now, imagine how it will be when they actually become foreigners in Nigeria. |
goatgoat093:The fact that you responded proves it is ''worth it''. ![]() |
spearman:lol. |
Anger and confusion has hit the proscribed terrorist group IPOB, since the man they upheld as their No 1 international supporter, mentor, facilitator, and inspiration, stunningly voiced his support for President Muhammadu Buhari's banning of Twitter. Trump, whose own Twitter account was banned by the popular US platform for allegedly flouting its rules, said he regretted not banning them himself during his term in office as US president, and was full of praise for the Nigerian president. https://guardian.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/Pic-15-PMB-MMETS-PRESIDENT-TRUMP-OF-US-1062x598.jpg https://i2.wp.com/nairametrics.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Buhari-and-Trump.jpg?fit=900%2C563&ssl=1 It is not known if furious IPOB thugs and their leaders would end their support for the popular US ex-president, following what they must see as a terrible betrayal. President Buhari is not known for too many words, but there is no doubt the former army general is basking in the endorsement of his actions by the influential ex US president. |
triple996:lol |
AmotekunSW:DUMBO. If Nigeria breaks, what makes you so sure that that will be the end of your problems in this world? How do you know it won't be just the beginning? What...you TRUST other people - total strangers - to do right by you just because you share the same language? So naive and thoughtless, 99% of you. |
malcom1X:I'll be surprised if Trump has even heard of Biafra. Very few Americans can name even 5 African countries, never mind naming one that doesn't actually exist. https://guardian.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/Pic-15-PMB-MMETS-PRESIDENT-TRUMP-OF-US-1062x598.jpg ![]() |
