If it were not that Mr Obi was preparing himself for presidency then,he wouldn't have gone through all the shenanigans of owing #185 billion debt (according to Obiano and Senator Umeh) and saying that he left non existing #75 billion (also according to Obiano and Soludo...it is not even in the handover note)for the incoming governor even without paying some workers for 8 good years.
Funds are meant to be used by the governor to better the lot of his people not left behind for another governor to embezzle.

I read in the article that Obi has presented documents signed by banks' officials to ascertain that he left no debts.
Pls do well to look at his proofs if they hold water.
First is the handover note that has been rubbished because it was written by him and his team.It cannot nullify DMO verified documents presented by ASG.

Secondly is a sheet with different bank names with different sums written but not signed by anybody.That is null and void because anybody can produce that.

Thirdly is the one signed by Access bank officials.
This is the only authentic document out of all he has presented but it has only the sum of a little above #117 million.

All of these papers... authentic or otherwise...have still not made a dent on the facts that Mr Obi lied that he left no debts.
All the states of the federation have their financial standings with the DMO and this is the only verified office that can clear Mr Obi not these fake papers.
