I am not using the 12 CEOs but almost all sectors,Yorubas are evenly spread at the top than any other...Profs,lawyers,doctors,clergymen,media,education,sports,Nollywood etc.

No, the Human Development Index cannot solely determine the middle class of a nation because it is a summary measure of average national achievements in health,education, and standard of living, not a measure of income distribution or class structure.You definitely know that Yoruba SW,accommodate millions of non-Yorubas with health,education etc problems which always impact SW HDI negatively.

Secondly,hdi does not account for factors like income inequality, poverty, human security or empowerment, which are crucial for understanding the distribution of wealth and the existence of a middle class within a country.

FAAC allocations are now hitting N1.5 trillion not because the economy is booming, but largely because the naira has lost so much value. A few years ago, N700–N900 billion translated to more value in real terms because the naira was more stronger and have more value and inflation was much lower.

So while it may look like more money is being shared, the purchasing power has dropped significantly.

When the civil war was about to break out Ojukwu released Col Banjo from Prison and he joined the Biafran war campaign. When the Nigerian Army invaded Biafra on July 6, 1967 Ojukwu sent Banjo to invade Nigeria. Banjo was able to capture Benin City in less than a day and was able to get within 300 kilometers of the Nigerian capital Lagos. The initial attack Victor Banjo led was extremely successful.

Wole Soyinka had this to say about him during his encounter with him back then.

"When I made a visit to Biafra and met Ojukwu, I also met Banjo who gave me a message for Obasanjo which said, "Let them understand in the west that am not leading a Biafran army, but an army of liberation made not only of Biafrans but other ethnic groups. Make the Governor of the West and other Western leaders understand this. Urge them not to be taken in by any propaganda by the Federal government about a Biafran plan to subjugate the nation, especially the west."

At a certain point during the war, Ojukwu felt at that time, that Victor Banjo was fighting his own war NOT Biafra war. Some school of thought believed that Victor Banjo dream was to push Yoruba territory via Ore and then declare Yoruba Nation. His success at Benin axis also showed his military capabilities fueling the suspicion of him having his own agenda. He was arrested by Ojukwu and tried for treason. The main reason why he was killed is known to Ojukwu alone but on paper, Victor Banjo, Phillip Alale, Ifeajuna and Sam Agbam were tried and convicted of Treason.

One of the people who saw him killed said 'Victor Banjo was a picture of brave soldier even in the eyes of immediate and sudden death. With his chest outward and head lifted high, gun shots of three vollies rammed into him' The same person went on to say that as he died he kept saying ' I am not dead yet , I am not dead yet' and he had to be shot four more times by biafran soldiers before he died.

For me I think the man was murdered by Ojukwu. His daughter published a book in his name titled 'LETTERS TO MY WIFE' and it is so mind boggling. What I think about the Banjo story is that Ojukwu just used those boys Nzeogwu, Ifeajuna and Banjo. They were are the real fighters who were conned into believing that the war was a noble revolution while Ojukwu was fighting his own war with his own agenda.
