Only great revolution from the sensible minority will change things which is almost impossible.

The future is bleak. The majority (foolish one) will oppose it with the last drop of their blood. Due to party affiliation or religious sentiments. The others will be paid agents to destabilize any such uprising.

The way the black man ended up with foolish people as leaders is still rocket science to me. It simply means an average blackman is an idiot.

Blackman is the problem of the blacks... Everything the Colonial masters left for us in shambles.

The ones we said we built we cannot maintain... Simply to choose credible persons to lead, we refuse.

We will continue to suffer till 'thy kingdom come'

If you don't want the use of charcoal, simply make alternatives to it easily available and cheap, naturally the mases will leave charcoal for it.

The people using charcoal do not use it because the love to, but because they cannnot afford the alternatives.

These people don't have the welfare of the populace at heart. I pity those fighting themselves to support them.

Yeye governor.

What it means is that the funds were there all along but he wanted to receive unmerited praise for doing that he was elected to do- pay workers their salaries.
Why wait till Christmas period before you pay them?

Note, he does this every December.

The road that high rise lie on , if you follow it straight up, with no diversion whatsoever, it leads you straight to Leru junction at PH-Enugu Express road.

Many thanks for this Bro, I got to that junction asked a passersby to be sure, the guy misyarned, I just bone am continue with the one I was sure of.

I'll give another try.

But how safe is the road? Have you personally used it? Is it very lonely?

The first one is shorter and safer (in the sense that it doesn't have too many lonely portions).

But no where is fully safe, lecturers in Spiritan University have been known to have been kidnapped by suspected Fulani Herdsmen in that Spiritan University road portion.

The whole Okigwe/Umunneochi is crawling with Fulani Herdsmen, because of the cattle market and settlement at Lokpa-nta in Umunneochi.

The key to being safe in these routes is to avoid night travel.

Yeah, thanks...

Do I need to get to that highrise building before I find my way to this road?

I got there the last time and asked someone for directions but the didn't give me convincing reply so I headed to Isuochi

ThinkSmarter:
But it's better and safer, even though it's longer.
It's the route that Onitsha South mass transit is plying right now.
You can choose to drive through Nneato by diverting @ Owerri-Ezukalla through Umuchukwu -Nneato -Spiritan University -Leru junction.
Or you follow Isuochi straight, maybe on reaching Nkwoagu Isuochi (Ummuneochi LGA headquarters), u take your right and drive through Ngodo Isuochi to a round about where you will see military check point and roads leading to Leru junction[Enugu-PH Exp], Ihube Okigwe [ Enugu-PH Exp] and also back to Spiritan University - Nneato -Umuchukwu-Owerre Ezukalla.
Those routes are good and safe.
The other route from Nkwoagu Isuochi if you take left is lonely towards the hill, maybe safe in the day time but may not at night.
Safe trip

Many thanks Bro, truth is I don't know the first road.
I tried locating it once (two years ago) but the person I asked for directions didn't help matters. My wife and I then chose to continue with he third option you listed. Which we know too well.

As fọr the second one, I feel it may be longer compared to the third one. If I get to Nkwoagu, going through Ngodo and then turning left towards the express may be way too long. Though I know that route, I feel it's longer. But I may consider it if it is the safest anyways.

The third option is the favorite for now. Unless the first is shorter and safer, then I'll make more serious enquires in how to get it right.

I appreciate you!

They haven't fixed anything.
If you drive exotic car, I suggest you go through Uga-Umuchu-Umunze-Isuochi-Leru Junction.
Or you drive through Nneato-Lomara Isuochi to Leru junction.
There are not always there
But they can appear unannounced.
The road is badly damaged now and they took advantage of the slow drive caused by the bad road to operate.

Thanks Bro, I've been using the Umuchu-Uga-Isuochi in the past. I think I'll revert to it

That road also has some failed portions too. Some parts are so lonely too.

Honestly, I'm seriously contemplating which route to take when returning...

ThinkSmarter:
That's their domain.
But I think it's a Fulani and Igbo partnership business.
The uninhabited land between Ideato North And Okigwe LGA of IMO state is where they stay.
They dress with full face masks.
They match their victims into their hideout.
They operate mostly on Thursdays and Fridays .
The Okigwe -AroNdizuogu road, off Enugu/Portharcourt express way.

For real? This is even more serious than I thought... I used that road like twice last year without these concerns...

Do you know if they have fixed some of the failed portions of the road?
