Back in 2009, Finland denied me a school visa because they thought I didn't have enough money . Now I want to apply for a work visa to the UK, and I'm wondering if I should mention that old visa denial. It happened a long time ago, so is it really necessary?

Do any of us know if Finland shares immigration data or records with the UK? Also, is there any disadvantage to having been denied a visa before?

Well, I don’t think it’s necessary. Because I applied for US visa in 2016 and I was denied. I didn’t mention it on my UK visa application and I was granted a visa last month
