bixton: Garri has substitute. Its just that some of us are obsessed with cassava derivatives.
All wheat derivatives used as swallow, plantain flour, yam flour, rice flour, maize flour...... None of these can be substituted because they can't be soaked for consumption like garri. The taste, appearance and uses are not the same. Substitute goods example: Bournvita and Milo, matches and lighter e.tc |

jmoore: The price of garri keeps increasing. A paint of garri is 4,000 naira.
Any cheap alternative to garri that one can use to eat soup? Gari has no substitute. You can only farm to produce your own. |

sreamsense: Allah should have given that idayya to Mohammad first so it would have been useful to guide his Muslim followers since he is the best example for muslims to follow. Maybe if that idayya was given, he wouldn't have married 6yrs old Aisha and slept with her at 9yrs to cause child abuse and child molestation that rendered Aisha barren, childless and fruitless in her life. That idayya would have helped him not to sleep with one of his slaves on the matrimonial bed of one of his wives. Try to get that idayya yourself so you won't leave his amoral lifestyle that can ends one in jail in this 21 st century My prayer remains. |

735i: Do you ever process your thoughts before you post? 60k minimum wage means people can spend more. Demand will rise... manufacturers will be incentivized to increase supply... translates to more jobs which translates to more taxes for the government.
Companies are shutting down and leaving because cost of production is rising and demand is thinning out
My 8 year old niece knows this!
Stop make posts about things you know absolutely nothing about. God bless you abundantly! |

Have you considered those who spend all their salaries on transportation alone?
Have you considered the increase in house rent?
Have you considered the high cost of living while the standard of living is low?
Have you considered the low per capita income while price of essential commodities are always flying?
My bro, economics is very simple for those who understand it. The inflation you mentioned is already in existence. Increase in minimum wage won't have significant impact at the moment.
Let there be price control, don't suffer the labourers, they are poorly paid! |

CountinBlessins: Firstly only a school like LASU this can happen to, A school that only breeds agberos and cultists The quality of graduates LASU produces is so low, you cant even engage a LASU graduate in a proper interview without wondering if truly the person is a graduate. 99% of the agberos carrying out oro festival beheading are LASU graduates.
This can never happen to Unilag, Uniben, University of Ibadan, UNN, ESUT, OAU, Nnamdi Azikiwe, EKpoma etc Imagine this coming out of your mind. Too bad! |

sreamsense: Did Abraham claimed to be the seal of prophet like Mohammad? How many centuries apart before Mohammad came with false revelation and bad leadership style? Abraham did not claim it was God that told him to marry multiple wives, but Mohammad Got support of his fabricated Allah (mecca idol) and listed all he was permitted to marry including any woman that brought herself to Mohammad among Muslim women. He did not lay down good examples, he married about eleven wives with many concubines and mandated Muslims to marry four May Allah give you idayya. |

fullclub: Labour demand is much. They should accept 60/70 as minimum wage
Oh they should pay them 400,000 they asked for? Na stage 2 inflation you de call for. Have you studied the Expectational Augmented Philip curve theory? Have you studied the wage wage price spiral theory?
Can the government cought out this money you called without going back to print more money? If what labour is asking for Is implemented it's to cost 10 trillion monthly. Does Nigeria has that money to push out?
The government should look for ways to increase productivity, that is national output. They should look for ways to tackle insecurity so that farmers can grow food. They should look for ways out all federal roads in order to transport foods, goods from North to South.
They should look for ways to be transparent in oil production. Ensures they partner with dangote to bridge the gap that exist in oil import.
If all this are tackle alongside corruption mostly among state government then real wage will increase.
There is a difference between real wage n money wage. ... Search that in Internet to learn more. Chairman, that amount is too small ooo! Transportation will consume more than half of the money. The minimum wage between 100 and 120k is better. |

BondRiv: Fubara is the one causing this crisis with his desire to appoint unconstitutional caretaker chairmen. Caretaker chairmen are illegal. People are just cherry picking illegality.
What are the plans for the conduct of local government election in Rivers State? Why is the empty drum Fubara afraid of local government election?
These chairmen are going nowhere without an election. They will appeal to the supreme court. Everybody will choose what they want. Even then, they may not leave, if the governor wants to foist illegal caretaker chairmen on the LGAs. Even without local government election, the chairmen can't stay beyond the stipulated 3 years. That's the law. |
