Guys do you think one can apply for visa 4months before resumption. I got admitted to a university in german for winter(October) intake with enrollment date on or before 24th of September. What is the earliest date i.e month you think i can schedule for my visa appointment?

i would still urge you to do an LLM. M.A in criminal Justice is tailored to employees of the criminal Justice system that is, prosecutors, criminal defendants, people that work in the correctional facilities like prisons and maybe like us EFCC etc, if you do an LLm it touches all aspects of law and you have less explaining to do. Also check University of windsor thier LLM has quite an interesting package.

I really would love to have done an LLM program....but i do not meet the criteria of 3.5(70%) CGPA......as i have a CGPA of 3.1....but still should i just go for a Post graduate diploma/cert in Alternative Dispute Resolution?
and thereafter may lead to my push for an LLM programme? what do u say?

I would have loved to see you accepted LLM. Your path for a visa would have been easier. PGD makes your path more treacherous but not impossible. My advise going forward is to work on producing a very powerful Statement of Explanation SOE (why do people here call it SOP?) on how you arrived on applying for PGD and your excitement on how this program can help you achieve you future personal goals and those of your nation.
