alstarmayo: considering taxify adds promo money to your Sunday earnings, this calculation might not be completely accurate earnings = earnings If i didnt work for the money they add, will they add it? no. i earned the money they added, therefore my calculations are accurate. |

Schiphol: That statement may not be 100% true in all scenerios. Example: Fuel consumption on Taxify is never going to be the same on Uber. You can prove me wrong though. it's the same for me. don't forget I analysed based on my own experience. do yours. don't assume. |

Olesekeniwoye: As you can see from my screenshot, am not chasing anything
But you still have not acknowledged the TWO conditional for the hourly guarantee in your powerfully formulae.
Lastly, am not challenging your authority ooo. I just want to learn i am not an authority. only share facts based on my experience. now the conditions are very simple to meet. all you need do is to accept all trip requests. accepting all trip requests doesn't mean completing them all. you can accept a trip and then cancEl it later but the most important is to accept. then on the issue of trips per hr, trips per hr are counted on "average". you can do just one trip for 3 hrs and you can also do 8 trips in 3hrs. it all depends on where riders are going to. If you do a trip for 3 hrs, the guarantee still applies. They they will make sure you earn 1050 per hr. what this means is that if after your 3 hr trip you dont earn up to 3150, you are getting a top up. just drive... o tan. |

Olesekeniwoye: 60trips/90k was a guarantee. Not a promotion/incentive. Reason why you didn't see it at the "promotions" section on the app.
This week's promotion/incentive is the "50trips earn N5,000" and "60trips earn N10,000", not the hourly guarantee.
It's a quest. And destination trips won't count. Just like you, see pictorial evidence.
Lastly, we are learning ooo. And looking up to top earners like you and victor My advice is that you stop chasing the guarantee and start counting the hours. i have come to understand that guarantees make drivers lazy. which is why most drivers were all after short trips. |

net7777: @romeo, what if I decide to drive for 6hrs daily on uber alone, do I still qualify for the promo.? 6hrs a day x 7 days = 42hrs in total. 6hrs monday to Friday = 6 x 5x 1050 = 31500 6hrs saturday to Sunday = 6 x 2 x 1200 = 14400 total = 45,900 guaranteed. |

Olesekeniwoye: It means you MUST complete at least 84 trips in at least 112hours with an acceptance rate of 75% to qualify for a minimum weekly earning of N122,000. Then an additional top up of N10,000 for completing over 60 trips.
As with all other incentives/promotions, DESTINATION trips do not count.
destination trips have been counting for over 3 months. |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Romeo3(m): 6:44pm On Oct 21, 2017 |
I'll be using my own averages.
i have made 322,000 driving on taxify for 6 weeks.
it has taken me 257hrs to do so.
6 weeks = 42 days.
257 hrs ÷ 24 hrs = 6.11 hrs a day.
note that I do not drive everyday on taxify. i alternate with uber.
322,000 ÷ 257hrs = 1,252 per hour.
so if I decide to work 16 hrs a day on taxify i will make 16 x1252 = 20,032 daily or 140,224 weekly.
the current difference between uber and taxify is just 8k a week.
you can drive on any.
these are facts that are proven.

Olesekeniwoye: Sir Romeo. You didn't include these conditions what this means is that on top of the 122k available to You, you can still make an extra 10k making it 132k. it all depends on how many hrs you are willing to drive on uber. |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Romeo3(m): 6:19pm On Oct 21, 2017 |
8hrs a day sleep is recommended for optimal performance of the human body.... we have 24 hrs in a day. 24 - 8 = 16 hrs.
you have 16 hrs a day to make money.
uber promised 1,050 naira per hr online during weekdays, and 1200 naira per be during weekends. therefore you have the possibility of making 1,050 x 16 × 5 = 84,000 from monday to Friday, and 38,400 from Saturday to Sunday.
and this amounts to 122,000 after uber fee. and this is also driving only for uber. i have not analysed for taxify.
and this is also after sleeping for 8hrs a day.
i sleep between 6 and 8hrs daily... the strategy is that I do not sleep 6 or 8hrs in a stretch. i break my sleep into 4hrs each. or, 3 hrs each. or 3hrs 3hrs and 2hrs.
i work from 5 am to 12pm. then i sleep/rest till 5pm and hit the road again till 1 am then i balance my sleep deficit.
All in all I make sure i eat well and sleep good and still post crazy figures.
drive and determination is important for success.
sometimes I don't sleep for 8hrs a day. sometimes I rest for more than 8hrs a day. i just make sure i add everything up weekly.
Hope this helps. |

deedee44: 80k challenge, uber will deduct 20k, fuel around 15k, car wash 3500. Balance 41,500. Data subscription and other miscellaneous expenses are still there. Less I forget, the few weeks that you drove, did you do 150k challenge? If not then you're lazy too ask him if he ever did 70k a week. and tell him to prove it. |
