All ya worried mama, i got this from baby center. My lo will soon clock 8 months and isn't crawling but can roll for africa and shift with his bum from one end of a big mat to another. It doesn't worry me one bit. Your baby will achieve the milestone very soon so put ya mind at rest.


When do babies start crawling?

Most babies learn to crawl between the ages of 7 months and 10 months. Your baby may opt for another method of locomotion around this time, though – like bottom shuffling (scooting around on her bottom, using a hand behind and a foot in front to propel herself), slithering on her stomach, or rolling across the room.

Don't worry about her style – it's getting mobile that's important, no matter how your baby does it. Some babies don't crawl and move directly to pulling up, standing, cruising (furniture walking), and walking.

Here's what u can try - put him in a sitting position and then put his favourite toy(s) a little bit far from him but where his eyes can see. Then start calling his attention to it..
Watch out for his reaction...he may most likely make an attempt to lunge forward and get it...
Pls do this on a big bed cos he may fall face flat while trying, so he doesn't get injured.

Take it easy mama, Na slow n steady with practice, he'll get there soon.

Be patient dearie, baby will reach the crawling milestone at his own pace. Soon he will start crawling and you go shout tire. I personally dont bother my head as regards milestones as each child is unique and different. Mine just started crawling last week, they will be 8 months tomorrow.

NB; Enjoy this phase now because when he starts crawling, the shouting is real. The shouting I have done in the last one week, I don't think I have done it in my life so far. I can't even bath in peace as they are always coming to meet me in the bathroom.

for pear and apple puree, you have to peel off the skin, and then boil in little water first before blending.

For avocado, you can just go ahead and mash without cooking.

I'd say start with pureed fruits (avocado, apple, pear, banana etc) and see how ur LO takes it...and then gradually introduce other pureed foods.

If u sabi sing well, just compose one 'feeding album' and use it to ginger ur LO to eat.
Not easy but with time, they'll come around.

Pls how can i make d pureed fruits?

Gud evening mama's, finally we are six month after doing exclusive bobo refuse to take anything apart frm breast. Pls come to my aid wat should i do.

people long time oh. May God not allow mothers coming for omuguo give someone postpartum depression. Some mothers are very fun like mine. As soon as my husband went offshore my mother came over for omuguo that was when my stress started. The 1st evening she came I made rice for dinner she said she doesnt want rice that I should make eba for her I did after 1:30mins she said I should that I should add water to warm rice for her to eat that the rice is too hard without even testing it (assumption one of her major issues). I told her that both of us I dont know who is doing omuguo oh. She laughed. Next thing she said go and lock all the doors and close all curtains. In my mind I was like this is my house I know I will lock door before I sleep u dont have to say (she likes to be the one to tell u what to do (controlling attitude). Next day she wanted to cook pepper soup she started complaining I cant cook in this kitchen its too small for me. I cant wash in the bathroom she took the baby's cloth outside to wash. I dont like spreading clothes on hanger I like it directly under the sun on a line. I said pls put it on the hanger. She went to wash the bathroom and started bringing out bowl my dh use in washing the car and the bottle we put detergent to throw away that she doesnt like them. I said those are for my husband there is nothing wrong with it and i met them in the marriage.
She was in the sitting room and my son was sleeping. I was in the kitchen slicing pepper to fry egg. Next thing I heard her calling me from the room that I should bring the baby for her and she walked from the sitting room without carrying the child I told her there was pepper on my hand. I put my baby on my back with a wrapper.
She doesnt bath baby my neighbour that has given birth to 8children comes to bath him morning and evening. She said she doesnt know how to birth babies but she will not wake up to put water on fire for him and set everything for him to bath I will wake up to do that. She will go to her shop and come back 8:30pm and tell me to come and make food for her when I am about going to bed. When I am on the fone with Dh she will be upset and say how many hrs will u talk on the fone. When I am breast feeding she be like only one child u have given birth to see ur stomach why dont u have my kind of stomach. If u are not careful ur breast will fall. As in I got tired and stressed cos of her.

I had my bath and used little coconut oil to rub my body she just said I beg go inside and rub ur body as if she was talking to a 2yrs old. When im trying to lay down to get some sleep after since my baby has sleeping after waking up several times at nite. She will be like I beg go and bath u dont like bathing right from when u were a baby. My sisters I got tired of her I couldnt hold my upset again I told her she is treating me like a child and she was said she hasn't done anything wrong that she has even over stayed so she carried her hand bag and left. Later my brother came to my house she called my brother to carry her bag home and she never came back. I will manage myself with my 2months old baby after all I was doing alone for 7weeks before coming back to najia.

We are back from the hospital, doctor prescribe amocilline, flagyl and ORS for him. But one nurse call me and advise me to buy akapojedi for him which 1 did and since morning that he poo before we let home he has not poo again. The nurse said since his weight is not reducing that he is ok my bb weight 8.4 at for month

In addition to what other mamas has said. Give the baby ORS after every poo.
10ml to 1kg for instance for a 4kg baby 40ml shd be given
And also Zinc tablets. 5mg for less than 6months and 10mg for above 6months for 10 days
See the doctor ASAP.

Rose, your baby is fine. Reduce your sugar intake especially minerals. Seeing a doc is fine and I'm sure they'll prescribe flagyl

Pls n pls, that poo is not good looking. Kindly visit the hospital tomoro immediately, they should run test(s) on him to know the cause n be treated asap.

Since your baby is on ebf, maybe you should check yourself too, any infection, or something.
