Everyday they come here to spew hatred for Nigeria. ''The zoo''. Now ''the zoo'' is sharing $22.7 billion and they are demanding their own ''fair share'' of the zoo's money. The ''zoo money'' does not come from Igboland, or even from the Niger Delta oil, but is an international loan applied for by ''the zoo''. So why do secessionists want any part of that money, even demanding ''their fair share'' of the ''zoo money''? What 'fair share' are they talking about? Are they now ''zoo animals'' like the rest of us? If I was Buhari I won't spend a single kobo of that $22.7 billion in the South East until they totally renounce Kanu and his secessionist madness. Until then, let Nnamdi Kanu fund them. Emergency zoo citizens attracted by money. |
fulanimafia:Don't mind these stupid fools. Everyday they come here to spew hate for Nigeria. ''The zoo''. Now ''the zoo'' is sharing money and they are demanding their own ''fair share''. If I was Buhari I won't spend spend a single penny of that 22 billion dollars in the South Easty until they totally renounce Kanu and his secessionist madness. Until then, let Nnamdi Kanu fund them. Bastards. |
FrLukas:Illiterate. What has govt borrowing got to do with the growth rate of an economy? The world's largest economy, the USA, is also the world's biggest debtor nation, owing TRILLIONS of dollars to China and other nations. Mr emergency economist. |
hammerU:YOU are an uncivilized peabrain dunce who thinks the presidency is something that is imposed on a nation by fiat, as opposed to a position for which a candidate campaigns and is voted for, based on the strength and appeal of their campaign manifesto. Go and learn the meaning of civilian democracy, you bush, uneducated, tribalistic idiot. |
''Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country.'' - John F Kennedy |
greatID:Dubai is a city of the UAE, a country of 8 million people with 4 times Nigeria's oil reserves and daily output. She is artificially rich by sheer luck. |
MrStan11:You are a brainwashed ignoramus with ZERO knowledge of African history. FYI, your ancestors were pioneers in the sciences, philosophy and the arts. And they manufactured cotton and silk garments, and dressed in the finest attires. Get that into your colonised, ignorant skull, you hear? |
PicLtd:The reasoning of a semi-literate school dropout. |
LegendHer0:You have to ask the mods why. When people post images of poverty and fighting, it always shows very well. But post images of development, and suddenly ''technical issues'' arise. The pics show very well on desktop PCs....for now. |
^^ Same as you. Vamoose. I feel like spraying insecticide to rid this lovely thread of locusts like you. |
Fragility6:Take your tribalistic crap to another forum. You are not wanted here. |

Arrewa:As a southerner I can confidently state that the north is currently witnessing its finest period of development since independence. I think the penny has finally dropped on the northern ruling class that they need to step up their game. The recent move by Gov Ganduje to end the Almajiri phenomenon in Kano state is a case in point. More grease to the elbows of our northern brethren. ![]() |
helinues:I never said or implied I was Yoruba. Like a typical tribalist, you concluded I must be Yoruba because I posted Lagos images. Who will cure you Nigerians of this tribalism? It really makes you sound dumb. It actually diminishes you as a people. We never used to be like this, even on Nairaland. |
helinues:Which one did your father build? |

gidgiddy:I don't actually think you know the laws governing ''self-determination''. If any illiterate group that wakes up and says it wants to secede from a country is allowed to do so, there would be a million+ countries on earth today, not the current 195. One more thing. I doubt anyone actually is against Igbos seceding from Nigeria. The problem is that secessionist Igbos want to take the Niger Delta along with them, which is NOT Igboland. The reason of course, is so that they can steal and corner the oil and gas resources belonging to the whole nation. Thankfully, the Delta people are having none of this ''emergency kinship'' being extended to them by yourselves. |
boldaslion:Can you see why we call you IPOBs illiterates? You have no clue who I am or where I am from. But like a wild animal, you just jumped to your tribalistic conclusions without a second thought. You and your deplorable ilk need not just education, but enlightenment. Without Igbos Nigeria will be the most backward country in the world.Where's your proof of this? Merely stating it doesn't make it so. I mean let's face it. They seemed to be doing pretty well without you in the late 60s when they were kicking your asses in the Eastern bush as you perished from starvation. |
boldaslion:Save your illiterate diatribe for your fellow lowlifes and touts. You actually expect a professor to debate a high school dropout? What will they discuss? That you even envisage such a scenario shows the intellectual vacuity of your movement. |
gidgiddy:Use your head. This is not about the ''right to self-determination''. This is a simple, common sense based issue around the knowledge and qualifications of the person leading that cause or struggle. If the person is a school dropout who knows nothing about how the world really operates, then the struggle will be unrealised or at best, sabotaged by chaos. Even right now we can see the chaos. The movement lacks any clear direction or focus, lacks any international allies, and lacks credible internal allegiances. How do you intend to achieve the secession? Nobody knows. What is the political and economic ideology of the new state to be? Or is it after you form the state that you will start to think of all that? That's a recipe for instability and chaos. That is not how nations are formed. You need an educated leadership with a clear vision and consensus on the character of the new nation from the outset, or you will just be another South Sudan or Sierra Leone, and most likely, worse. |
gidgiddy:You cannot have or propound an ''ideology'' without a proper education. You need to be properly educated to know how to position your agitation, whom to choose as your international allies, how to decide on political affiliations, how to decide on the form of government you wish to pursue in your new state, be it parliamentary, presidential, or an entirely new configuration, the type of economic system you wish to pursue, be it capitalist, socialist, or a mixed economy, and so many other things. So stop being dumb. Igbos were known to love education. it is a pity that this new generation seeks to embrace anti-intellectualism for the depths of blind ignorance and servitude to charlatans and dropouts. Disgusting. |
ludd2018:You do NOT have a PhD. Your spelling and diction are PRIMARY SCHOOL level. Primary 1 or 2 at the most. |
Area4Area:Bro, it wasn't even his lies that got to me. It was his whole chaotic diction. ''standing before world power like the EU and UN''. I mean.... damn. |
PicLtd:Goodness you sound dumb. You are actually an embarrassment. ''standing before world power like the EU and UN''. Good gracious. You lot are truly the dregs of society. Association of dropouts led by the chief dropout himself. What you need is not secession, but basic education. |
azimo:The reality is that you are an unschooled dunce who is unqualified to attend any Nigerian university. Even after I corrected you earlier, you STILL cannot write proper English. Yet you have the nerve to criticise Nigerian universities' standards. How can you criticise something you are not qualified to even step foot in? |
PURE Exaggeration. i don't believe them. They are liars. |
I never knew this thread would cause this kind of disturbance among IPOB folks. Wonderful indeed. |

Ighalo’s arrival sparked a shockwave of surprise on social media on transfer deadline day when it was announced he’d be joining United on a six-month loan deal from Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua. However, after scoring on his first start against Club Brugge in the Europa League last week, the 30-year-old was given the nod to start tonight’s FA Cup fifth-round tie against Wayne Rooney’s Derby County, and he scored in the second-half to make it 3-0 and seal passage to the quarter-finals: Football on BT Sport ✔ @btsportfootball Ighalo at the double as Man Utd make it 3-0!
