Hello auto gurus in the house.
I need your candid advice.
I want to get a van. The one that have j5 like body.
I have done my search and found products like Peugeot j5, boxer, fiat, Renault.
Am surprised to see there price btw 700-800k.
Are they rugged?
I need one to move food stuff from the north to Lagos & I don't want disappointment.
What trick have the people using them using to keep them running on such long trip with such load
Do they use other engines, tyres or socks.
Pls advice/educate me appropriately

You only have one thing the Chinese need, oil. The Chinese however, can always buy your oil with dollar since even your crude oil sales are usually denominated in US dollars.

Please the swap deal was dead from the beginning.

Even EU countries under the ERM II have to keep their currencies within a speculated margin by providing the difference from their reserves.

HOW DOES INTEREST RATE WORKS ON LOANS CAN ACCOUNTANT & BANKERS IN THE HOUSE ENLIGHTEN ME.

I know it works like compound interest but what I want to get right is that if they say 20% interest rate do I have to pay 20% of the loan every month until I pay it off?

Cos when I worked out interest on a loan of 500k, I was getting to realize I will pay 1.8k at the end of the year.

I suppose the bait swap is a better solution that the pumping of dollar and I also agree in the balance of trade thing.
But how can is be d major beneficiary when the person am trading with is China?

I want to believe that my readers followed the Naira swap issue when it was on last year.

All my adult life I have never seen an economic policy as wise as that.
Note that I don't claim to know all that is involved but what I know is that we where to then get a billion dollar worth of China currency then.
Most of our export are paid for in dollar that is why we have too much pressure on dollar. whereas 60% of it comes from China and as at then the Chinese currency was a third of what the dollar was.
So China was to give us it currency worth a billion dollar in exchange for Naira
Therefore for anything you are bringing from China we use the excess Chinese currency to sort it out.
That will reduce the pressure on dollar a lot since use addly produce things in d us but in China.
I was discussing with a friend asking what happened to the deal. He said US will not be happy with the deal that is why they didn't go ahead with the deal
Government in US have changed hands to a man who doesn't care much about pleasing others. Why can't we strike the deal now.
