From my own perspective i, I. Believe we have so many un employed nigerian who are ready to work but no availabily of a job . Walmart will persidinly create jobs for this people . Imagine working 10hours during weekend then having enough money for school on week days . Without having to crumble . That is to people who are ready to work . Moreso we have so many africans who work in more horrible places than walmart abroad just to make a living .

Yes there are people who get their papers after being in the country illegally but that B.S of 5 years stay = green card is long gone. Doxat is giving you real life scenario of whats going on in the country now. Imagine this, in Arizona for example they passed a law that gives police the right to basically harass you for your papers and send you to an immigration center if you can't prove that you have your documents. The Mexicans and Haitians who are surviving are doing so because their communities look out for each other. They connect each other with under the table jobs etc. How many Nigerians do you know that would actually let you come stay at their home even if you have a greencard?

Under taking a tough fight such as what the originally poster had suggested can be successful, but the chances of that is slim nowadays. Immigration laws has changed a lot and they are not b.s'ing anymore. All the advice might sound like people wanting to stop another man's progress but trust me it's not. People need to just listen to what can happen to them and use that to plan accordingly

The sch. didn't request for Toefl or SAT but what do you think going without any to the embassy(Lagos).

I advice you to write any of the standardize test to proof to the VO you a serious student even though ur skool never requested it of you . See VO determines ur way into the USA or the skool itself , so its better to statisfy the VO once and for all . Am going for UG in MIS too and am hoping to write SAT after I missed my ACT test . As for the low tuition skool , I do not think the VO has anything against you choosing a low tutition skool as far as you can afford it . They know there is no University in Usa that can be compared to Uni. Here no matter how low their fee is .

I don't need them just considering the jambites , I am professional in database I know how incompetent the jamb database administrator could be for this to be happening .

OzReal: I really can't state to a certainty what the right choice here is, but I would probably take the take the second option if it were a short term programme, such as a Master's degree. Since the school would cover half of the cost while you can take care of the remainder; however, if it is a long term one I'm not quite sure. Because under the first option(availability of grants), you have to be very careful because that is what is usually being said, but the reality on ground is that these grants are very limited as there is a preference for Americans over foreigners.

Thanks brouv , am going for a 4year program and the second skool that gave 50% off total cost. Sai they will keep it with for 5years provided am keeping 2.0 Gpa , how is that hard to get . Am majoring in business admin & managemnt. Do you mean the first skool that promised student grant in the second year might not make it up to me .

in the house to help me make a right one too , I have 2 admission now , the first tuition is $25000 per year and was not giving any scholarship or student grant but was told there is going to be available student grants for international student in the second year . MY second school is costing me $38000 but I was giving internationals student grant marking 50% off from the total cost of attendance . Now I that I have interview in June I am wondering on which I-20 to go with for my interview that will earnestly approve me for visa. . And also the first school is affordable for me but since I have been denied visa 3 times I don't know which one should go with . Please evryone just help me make right decision , both people that already gone tru this and wise NLDRS

Please I need urgent assistant on what to do fast , my skool gave me international student grant but my counselor said I will be asked to pay what I owe for the first semester before I-20 is been sent to me, and eeveryone knows paying part of the tuition doesn't not appraise to your visa issuance , so please does anyone one know what and how I could tell them to send my I-20 as I have book an appointment already .

In getting prepared for my interview which will be comning up in June , I tried getting all senses together , here is what I would need some advice on. My first appearance in 2008 was at lagos and the age on my PP was 1983 which was due to immigration mistake , now I have a Epassport which is carrying my real age which is 1987 . Pls I am thinkin its been d reason for my 2denials coz the VO won't tell but I still tink not coz one of the VO adviced me to apply into a University and reapply as he tinks m too old for an associate degree .Now I am thinking of giving the fact that the reason for my denial is d age mistake on my first passport or what could I give as a reason for denial on my DS 160.

You can pay them through your nija creditcard by applying for one from any bank in nigeria , sending bank statement alongside with your application is not neccesarily unless you have all other documents in terms of your School Credentials then possibly you can do that , BUT i will advise you pay the application fee and then get a close contact with your admission officer or Office . I hope this can put you through a little .
