Please I don't understand you. Are u saying it will carry two numbers. Since u agreed that numbers are different and proceed to say they will put old number on new one.....

The new one will reflection the previous passport number


You also asked a question about POFs which I think has been flagged because I can't see it

Your POF is your maintenance for your studies, it should be in your bank for a period of minimum 28days and you can print your statement after then ensuring it is submitted before the 31st day after printing.

Please who can help me resolve this. Am at a cross road. I already have my admission confirmed but my passport remain 4 months to expire and collecting new one am told it will take like 6weeks.....please how should I go about all this,,please who can help me. VISA ALERT

I thank God for His mercies, blessings and guidance.


Online application – 14th/15th June (started around 11:30pm, so finished in the early hours of the next day).
Biometrics (Abuja TLS) – 27th June.
Application transferred to DMC – 27th June.
Application received by DMC – 27th June.
TLS collection mails (I don't know why they sent two, but they did) – 14th July.
Passport (with vignette) collected – 15th July.


Documents submitted/uploaded:
1. Passport data page.
2. Transcript.
3. IELTS test certificate (I could've used my WAEC result, but I had already written IELTS since February last year).
4. Tuberculosis test certificate.
5. My bank statement generated via Zenith Bank's mobile app (no stamp/seal/signature).


Here's me wishing you all good luck in your respective applications. Try to be as honest as possible. Even if you make some mistakes, as far as those mistakes are not grave, UKVI will rightly access you. After all, you're only human – and so are they. Thank you. I didn't legalize before getting admission. I only authenticated my documents. I don't know how to help you in that regard. Unless you look for someone who already has a date to assist you in legalizing the documents or changing the school since you haven't started the application process.

I believe it's same thing. Or where is the authentication done? If it's embassy, definately it's same..how do I start?
