Misterone:From all indications, Obi is not corrupt. He may have a few controversies around him but they aren't as heavy as that of Tinubu and Atiku. |
Lanretoye:Reading this your post, I just laughed. Perhaps, you don't know. EFCC and ICPC are political instruments for people in power. Otherwise, starting from IBB, so many forner office holders in this country would be in jail. Tell Tinubu that I'll like to vote for him if only he can clear his name as a deeply corrupt Nigerian. If the race were to be between Tinubu abe Atiku alone, I'll vote Tinubu. Why? Because both guys are corrupt but one is a better administrator than the other. But since there's an Obi factor to be considered, I'll vote obi. Why? Because both Obi and Tinubu are good administrators but one is more corrupt than the other. In this case, Tinubu is the more corrupt. We need a Paradigm shift. Nigeria must move away from the old system that's not working, and try something new. That's why Obi has my vote. I do not have the total confidence that Obi will deliver. Is Obi not a man? No man can be trusted. I'm voting him only on the basis of his antecedents. Obi may not win, but I'll be satisfied in my conscience that I've done the right thing. When you voted Buhari in 2015 and 2019, can't you see the regrets you're currently in? Buhari, Tinubu, Obasanjo, Atiku, etc are all politicians of same feathers. Politics apart, they belong to the same caste. Let's try a different man come 2023. Are you not tired of this country already? |
Alajiki:Na so people talk for 2015 when I dey warn dem say make dem no vote Buhari. Dem yab me tire, but now, see as dem dey wail. Let's bury religion and tribalism in the house interest of our children. They deserve a better Nigeria than what we have today. |
Lanretoye:Read my post again. It's obvious you read with a biased mind. Tinubu is a good administrator, no doubt. Corruption is his bane. Are you asking me to profile Tinubu's chronicles of corruption? Who in this country doesn't know it? Tinubu Himself has never denied the widespread allegations of corruption against himself. Let him come out to clear his name if he isn't corrupt. Listing perceived Tinubu's achievement without credible and verifiable proofs of what he did won't get you anywhere. Someone who can hire fake Bishops at his age to deceive the nation is capable of doing many more evils to the masses. Should such an one be trusted? A man who fraudulently imposes his candidates on Lagosians and turned Lagos to his personal business estate, can he be trusted? A man as Tinubu who has so many controversies around his personality, and has never been bold enough to set the records straight for the masses. I gave you a link to verify the achievements Obi made from a credible source, you shunned the link and started challenging me to itemize. Is that not illieteracy? Look, Tinubu is my tribesman. If I consider tribe, I'll vote Tinubu, but if I consider Nigeria, I'll vote Obi. I want a leader whose corruption index is zero or at least on a low level, and has a track record of excellence. Tinubu doesn't qualify. For Tinubu, politucs is business. For Obi, it is service to the masses. Obi isn't the best man Nigeria can offer. There are better politicians than Obi. However, considering the 3 most popular presidential candidates in Nigeria today, Obi is best among 3. That's my submission. A working Nigeria is all I want. |
Lanretoye:You cannot successfully peddle lies here on Tinubu's behalf. Many of the great developmental strides you see in Lagos today were made by Jakande and not Tinubu. Fashola àlso did a lot. He was adjudged the best governor in Nigeria during his tenure. I'm not saying Tinubu did nothing. Tinubu Is a good but corrupt administrator. Take away corruption from Tinubu, then, he would become the man of the masses. |
