I weep whenever I hear or read Nigerians address ize-iyamu, a known member of confraternity(aye) as a pastor. So I am not surprised that he lied, that's one of the many wrongs he is well known for.

Official results currently at my disposal shows that APC is leading PDP with about 5000 votes diff, 45000 to PDP 40000. And note that this exclude results from ikpoba okha local govt ward 7 were out of 15 polling units, apc won 14 and PDP won just 1 and also Ikpoba okha ward 4 were out of 6 polling units, apc won 4 and PDP 2.

Edo citizens on Wednesday, September 28, came out en masse to vote their next governor.

Nineteen candidates are vying for governorship ticket, but many believe it is a two horse race between Godwin Obaseki of the All Progressives Congress, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Edo state has a total of 1,925,105 registered voters; 192 Registration Areas (RAs); 2,627 Polling Units (PUs); and 4,011 Voting Points (VPs).

A total of 25,000 police officers were deployed across the state to ensure peace and security during the polls, while 44 observer groups were accredited by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as election monitors.

In most polling unit, NAIJ.com’s reporters and photo journalist observed the election were peaceful and INEC officials were seen setting up ballot boxes at various centres in Benin city as early as 7:45 am.

The election has been concluded in most part of the state and unofficial results have started trickling in.

As an edolite, an electorate and an APC party agent, I can boldly and categorically state that majority of these results are fake. this is far from the realities on ground.

So elated right now because from the 6 polling units that makes up ikpoba okha ward 4, my humble self and fellow APC comrades won 4 of the polling units.

Official results from fellow party agents indicates that we have taken over Uhunwonde, Oredo, Ekpoma, and so many other local govts.
