2nd option : Perform Hard Reset

When you reset the device, it forces the system to clear and reestablish the software connections between the BIOS and the hardware.
To perform a hard reset, follow the below-listed steps:

Turn off the computer and remove it from any port replicator or docking station.
Then, disconnect all external devices from your computer and unplug the AC adapter.
Remove the battery as well.Press and hold the Power button for about 15 seconds.
Then, insert the battery and plug the AC adapter back into the computer.

Note: Don’t connect any of the peripheral devices, such as USB storage devices, external displays, printers, etc.

Now, turn on the computer. When the start menu opens, select Start Windows Normally with arrow keys and press Enter

Implementation of New US Visa Validity Policy Begins March 1, Says Aregbesola

Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, has said that the new Bilateral Consular Policy Agreements between Nigeria and the United States of America on visa reciprocity for citizens of both countries will take effect on March 1, 2023, following its approval.

This is contained in a statement issued yesterday by the minister’s SA Media, Sola Fasure, adding that the minister said the agreements include the reciprocity of five-year tourist visa validity for American Citizens pursuant to Section 30 of the Immigration Act, 2015; Extension of visa validity to three years for diplomats and government officials between the citizens of Nigeria and the United States of America.

The statement said, “As part of the Bilateral Agreement, the United States of America will implement a similar policy for Nigerians wishing to travel on tourist visas to the United States and for our diplomats and officials visiting the country. The United States will thus extend tourist visa validity for Nigerian citizens to five years.”

President Muhammadu Buhari launched the new Nigeria Visa Policy in 2020 and it is conceived to promote tourism and boost cultural exchange and business, among others, between both nations.

According to the statement, Aregbesola had directed the Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS, to start the implementation of the policy from March 1, 2023.

Actually, I could have try to get it done myself but then there's this problem of the MOST VITAL KEY ain't WORKING on the KEYBOARD Like All Those Navigation buttons, The space bar key and even the almighty ENTER KEY + Backspace Key Too That Alone makes vulnerable to technician.. Had this experience this month, it was also a HP laptop.

From observation, the option suggesting formatting is OK as that was the path I took.

Using an 8g flash with windows 10os and detecting if the HD accepts MBR or not, just run a system format and install the fresh os or with option to recover files from folder oldwindows.

If u want to explore by yourself that will be fine, but a computer technician will quickly do the fix for you for a fee in addition to basic software installation and driving.

Immediately you power it on,press the f9 key if it is a HP laptop,it will show the list of boot device,if you can't find your HDD listed there then probably HDD has shifted from it connector but if it there,just go to bios setup and enable legacy.

So, I've been using this pc for quite some time now apart from the back up that it does not have, everything else is working perfectly until last year around June when I discovered that it's enter button and some other 2/3 buttons ain't functional again but since there's screen keyboard, I don't necessarily bother much about it as I can still be managing it.. So it wasn't in used as I do use it frequently again, so there's nothing to worry about until around December last year that I wanna use it and it started displaying this BOOT DEVICE NOT FOUND

I don't know what's wrong with it maybe it's software problems or hardware.. Please any solution would be highly appreciated.

Thank God I did my nin registration in 2015, cause then those nin staff eyes never open to they collect money.. I did it for free and I was only given the tracking ID slip..thank God I'm still using my 2011 mobile number till date, if not, I won't have been able to get a slip containing the NIN number unless I provided the first given tracking ID slip which is still peacefully sleeping in my portfolio file.


Na my brother and friends get nin issue and I was able to help am beat down the cost of payment by doing everything on the remita website and going to the official nin registration center to get any corrections done

it's simple, you just have to pay for modifications of others field and goto any nimc center, submit the receipt and your phone number will be changed

I know it's not everybody slip that will come accurately with the given details, because in an organization, there are some errors that's bound to happen even in the banks.
Now let assume you're a girl and you've done/enroll for your nin when you're not yet married and after you've married, your husband insisted that you must have your name changed from your father's name to his, in this case this video tutorials is for you. Good news for those who've lost thier nin slip or that have misplaced it one way or the other, you can actually get both the NIN number and the tracking ID that can be used in any nin enrollment center to generate the slip back for you with just the number that you used during the NIN registration or your date of birth as well.
