I recently got my number blocked because of they claimed I didn't link my NIN which I did almost 6 months ago. I got the message that my sim has been blocked because I didn't link my NIN so I went to the closest MTN office in my area after waiting for quite some time, they listened to us. 


What I didn't know is that my sim was not actually registered by me but by my younger brother who I begged to help me buy a sim a while ago. you'll have to goto your sim registration center to do proper verification and linking to the sim

your nin doesn't have to be linked to your phone number before you can enroll for jamb. Àbi it's me that's not getting this jamb gist

currently, there's no service for modification at agent places, you'll have to go to nimc direct office to effect the changes. And it'll take at least minimum of 3 weeks for it to be successful synchronize on your nin profile

just goto any sim outlet, to link it to your actual nin phone number

There's two options for you to correct the nin information.
Oneit's by paying NGN500 On the remita.net website and goto any nearest nimc office in your area, present your payment receipt with your birth certificate and it'd be done for you
Or
Two Goto Any Nimc agency, they'd ask you to pay from NGN 5,000-10,000 and they'd correct the name for you without no document required.
