Good evening all. Please i am trying to fill out the DS-160 form. I am currently at the work experience and education section. The site keeps telling me "secure connection failed" each time i try to save the section or even to proceed to the next section. I have tried optimizing the process by filling that section fast fast since inactivity could lead to a disconnection but all to no avail. I have tried using chrome and mozilla firefox but the problem has remained stubborn. What can i do please?

Person wey no sabi something go dey make noise up and down. You tell person say GRE no matter for internships, but you no remember to tell am say rewriting GMAT na the next viable option (lol). Me self, I sabi say he no know about the thing before I mention am. He just dey find wetin he go use support him talk.

The guy just daft but shame dey catch am to admit... He no want fall him hand.

Log onto the WES official website and use their free GPA calculator to convert your GP. It is easy to do. If after this you then need an official evaluation, you can then pay for an official and certified one.

The ETS power prep may not work on your laptop. This is what you will do. Find enough data, log into your GRE account. Go to shop for test preparation materials. You can buy two power prep full tests for $0.00. And you can only take it online (through your GRE account)

Tried using my Zenith bank Mastercard( used the same card to pay the application fee for two schs), the available options are VISA, China union pay and Diners club on their site. Tried Diamond bank Visa card too got the same error. Can anyone put me through...

Perhaps, my reply wasn't good enough for you. No one here, except they work for the admissions committee in the universities you want to apply to, can categorically tell with certainty your chances of being funded or if you should apply with your current score. The graduate admissions officer is better informed about the weight they use for the GRE and have knowledge of the profiles of their admitted candidates for several years but continue, remain here and wait for gurus to advise you on what to do while you run out of time and options.

This is one of my last posts on here, as I notice people only ask questions and don't even acknowledge people who respond to them.

Hello. I am an ardent follower of this thread. My story goes like this...
Undergraduate CGPA is 3.56/4.0 (Last two years of study is 3.71/4.0)
Masters degree CGPA is 3.7/4.0
TOEFL is 95/100
I took the GRE sometime in December 2018 and i had a miserable 299/340 (Q 158 and verbal 141)
My undergraduate and masters degree study were both in mechanical engineering

I am so pained and deflated. The energy i put in is not in any way commensurate to this terrible score. There is nothing i have not done about this to improve my quant and most importantly my verbal...lol...Please what do I do? Do i go ahead and apply to non top schools for a PhD program in Mechanical Engineering for fall 2019? What are my chances of being funded? or do i just write the GRE again?

Please I need responses from the gurus in the house please...

Contact them and tell them what exactly about my GRE score

It's getting really late for Fall '19 applications esp for funding. You should('ve) contact(ed) the admissions of the programs you're interested in about your GRE score. You'd get the answer you need from there.
