Gloria Maduka – Wandering Away

Gloria Maduka is an international singer-songwriter whose music and dance styles are greatly influenced by mainstream pop infused with African elements. From performing at church to large audiences, Gloria’s music transcends across cultures as she’s able to write and sing in Yoruba and Spanish – quite a unique trademark.

Gloria was chosen as one of the 40 of 12,000 contestants in Jacksonville, Florida to audition for the American Idol judges in 2008 which aired during the 2009 season.

Her debut album Of Light and Angels is an eclectic mix of alternative rock, pop, reggae and soul and she won the NPA Award for Best New Act in September 2011.
