Flavour recently performed at the 2016 Mali Unification Concert (April 9). While at it, two female fans shared the stage with Flavour Nabania. I'm sure they never dreamt of dancing with Flavour. One cried profusely. LOL. I'm somehow surprised at the influence Nigerian music/artistes have on the entire continent. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwCzl7iDe2w You sometimes see African celebs, socialites and models singing and twerking to Nigerian music. Just awesome. Can't wait enough for the KORA awards. |

You might have seen the end of this video before... But this is the full clip where MTV Base pranked HKN Boss Davido OBO. StoryLine: B Red helped MTV Base with the prank. The crew went to Davido's crib to ask for a refund for a show he failed to perform at. This got Davido mad - He threw a plastic water bottle at one of the guys. He later tried to act cool when he realized he had been pranked. LOL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=buE65MEvmoU |

Extreme bottom shaking is now a crime. lol in Tanzania, that is. Kigodoro, a traditional dance in Tanzania that's gaining wider attention on social media, is facing increased restrictions from the government. The dance involves women exuberantly shaking their bodies, and, in recent years for some performers, it involves stripping completely naked. Police cracking down on Kigodoro dances performed in weddings and social gatherings say they attract muggers and criminal gangs, putting attendees at risk. Herman Mwansoko, Director of Culture Development in the ministry of information, youth, culture and sport, says the government has declared this dance illegal: “This has become a serious danger to our culture as it threatens the original dances which are our identity. The new generation will be filled with what they see now and may not be aware that there has been a real Baikoko for instance,” he says. 'Baikoko' referenced above is another form of traditional dance where performers are known to strip. Many are critical of what is often referred to as Tanzania's "dirty" dance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4m_AS-gKh0&index=2&list=PLF582AktAnEHYFcEGy3JSXkNhj0Y21_DW |
