I am igbo, but some of the most stupid people I have seen in my life are igbo.
A Yoruba can never ask a question like this. |

Sanchez01: Were you born yesterday? The last time power shifted to the South, it was a South South clueless drunk from Bayelsa who called the shots and shut out a part of the South while he favoured another part of the South, LEAVING HIS OWN REGION TO SUFFER!
Why should power return to a part of the South it left just recently? Anyone who wants it the most works for it. If you think the demands of one lapdog called Ohaneze or IPOB would see others drop powers on the laps of the Igbos then you need to think again. Any part of the South can gun for the position, it depends on who enjoys the best of alliance. This is Azikiwe 101,by the way. Any southerner can come out for president, just as it is not a must for the rest of the south to vote for you. You can run, but as long as you know you are running alone. Azikiwe was never alone. |

oyatz: Yoruba is an ethnic group.
The North is a Geographical region consisting of 19 States with over 150 ethnic groups.
A Southerner is also not an ethnic Identity.
Compare likes with likes. The north is usually politically monotonous, while the south is not. Yoruba are politically on their own in the south. So I am being realistic. |

As far as he is concerned they are all Yoruba votes.
And yet pdp won the south in 2015 and 2019.
Buhari had to rally in his own north to claim victory. |
Politics › Re: Yoruba Establishes Its Supremacy In The South by RTSC: 4:18pm On Apr 07, 2019 |
MetaPhysical: The bold is not true. What does the North have that you do not?
You Ibos see government from one perspective only - the man at the top, the ruler! You fail to acknowledge like the Yorubas do that even from an opposition role a ruling government can be brought to its knees and forced into compromise to progress society.
If Christian North was that relevant for you why did your delegates from East pick muslim Atiku over christian Makarfi at the PortHarcourt primaries?
You have to ally with somebody to make progress in life. No individual is self-sufficient. No region is either. Today North is your enemy, tomorrow West is your enemy, next day South is your enemy. When are you going to make friends?
You make me laugh with your responses. See jolly just come teaching us how to politics. I guess politics started in 2015. So not voting apc means fighting with the north? Then atiku must be from Mars. Even if we will never vote a Yoruba candidate ever again , which is very likely, doesn't mean we won't vote a northerner. Besides, how exactly does Yoruba dominate the south? The last time I checked atiku and obi won the south overwhelmingly. Or which other south is there? Any way, Good story. Keep deceiving yourself while 2023 comes. |

Forget all this chest beaters online, when you travel to the east and south south, you will weep for them. They are like 20 years behind compares to what we have in Lagos, ogún, Ọ̀yọ́ etc.
I wonder what there useless governors use all the fed allocations given to them to do. A typical example is T.A orji of Abia. That useless old fool is supposed to be jailed for life. The reigning Idìot now is Yahya Bello of kogi. You are pained at the two regions that does not support your criminal party. I have been to oyo, osun, ogun, Lagos, ekiti. Unik3030: do u realize there is something called general acceptability? all those u mentioned as igbo strong men, aside from the east, which other place do people know them? what is their relationship with men from other tribes? I pray pdp fields an igbo man n let's see how they will die a natural death. but d last time I checked u people have apga now, y don't u develop it to a national party like tinubu developed acn to apc? y must it b pdp n apc? if u are as strong as claimed test your strength with apga cos I know pdp will not b that stupid to give igbo ticket cos it means automatic win for the other party. u have to swallow the bitter pill n accept d fact that no igbo person dead or alive is marketable in Nigeria election. Peter obi is more acceptable than any Yoruba man I can think. He boosted atiku credibility immeasurably, even though atiku himself has a lot of baggage. And the campaign and the debate where he publicly destroyed osibanjo , has also helped in selling him for the future. Gov umahi is also well known as a buhari loyalist, and a good governor. They may not be acceptable in ogun or ogbomoso, but it doesn't matter. Other Nigerians will accept them. |

Unik3030: so u mean apc will field an igbo man despite how much u hate apc? or pdp will field an igbo man? what u don't know is that d sw is closer to power than se. do u have any strong n popular politician in se? don't mention rochas n orji oooo. nobody takes power by blackmailing others. I pray apc or pdp field an igbo person as their presidential flag bearer n see how they will loose easily. don't u know an igbo VP even reduced atiku vote in the north? there are some places where atiku didn't put Peter obi picture because an average Hausa man sees an igbo man as d same as nnamdi kanu n so far igbos still follows nnamdi kanu agenda they will never amount to nothing in d political circus of Nigeria The next pdp southern presidential candidate is going to be igbo. There is no question about that. What I am concerned about is claiming that we have no strong men. Who was osibanjo before he became vice president? The likes of Peter obi, osita chidoka, Gov Umahi and Co are not strongmen, right? It is fashola and the lying pastor that are strongmen? Continue to dey deceive yourself. |

Onijagidijagan: This is the only sensible comment have seen from an Igbo. Do u know if it was an Igbo candidate that contested against Buhari, the vote percentage wud favor the South. But an average Igbo only believe they cannot do anything without the help of a northerners...But Yorubas believe we can defeat the Northerners in a credible election. If the yorubas vote their own and the North vote their own, how will you defeat the North? If the election is very credible, the margin of defeat would be unprecedented. It took the North defeating a southerner for tinubu to gain relevance. That trick is still in play and can be replicated. |

We marked your words when you said in 2017 that Tinubu's political career is finished and El Rufai is the new boss. Few months later we saw El Rufai visiting Bourdillon and bowing to greet Tinubu. Your words collapsed!
We marked your words when you said Buhari is going back to Daura in 2019 and Yoruba will suffer the consequence of outing GEJ. Buhari won election and Yoruba remains part and parcel of the party and administration. Your words collapsed!
Mr man, your words lack virtue. All those is not yet equivalent to 16 years of wilderness. The only thing common in all those scenarios you listed is buhari. He is the master. Without him, opposition politics is your collective destiny. |

I honestly hope the pdp can poll its resources together towards a south eastern president. That is the only option in 2023 for a sustainable nationhood.
A credible south easterner and a popular northerner should do the trick.
The south is in our kitty already. The North is where the battle would be.
And with buhari leaving the scene, the northern space becomes a bit more dynamic. |
