Remove less than 900k vote difference from ur region and Buhari will still win By the time atiku wins, I hope your people will not come and start looking for what you don't deserve. sogodihno: I see this 2019 election as a tribal and ethnic election, Yoruba has VP in APC, Igbos has VP in PDP.
let everyone vote for their candidate, Igbos didn't support Osinbajo in 2015, despite the fact that Jonathan was a failure, I hope they are not expecting SW to vote for Atiku(the same persons that destroy Nigeria for so many years without significant projects) and peter obi that called ACN a Yoruba party, despite the fact that ACN was controlling Edo state then. And those saying SW is majority Igbo, e go clear for ur eye In 2019. Yorubas have very significant population in kwara(half Yoruba) and Kogi States (I have been to this place so I know what am saying). And to those using the recent election in Osun and Ekiti as a criteria this is a different scenario, this is more of ethnicity interest.
Before, u qoute me to say nonsense, Did Igbo support Osinbajo in 2015? despite the fact that Jonathan is a monumental failure. Dont expect otherwise from SW. #istandwithosinbajo. Ko ni da fun e, if atiku wins in your polling unit. Scum Igbos don't go about writing epistles on why they are not voting for apc. We will just wait for 2019. I wonder why it is difficult for yorubas to mind their business till 2019, and stop calling igbos up and down. |

backnbeta: Unfortunately, the op is right. Atiku would have fared better if he had chosen a Yoruba man as his running mate as it would have been a battle between two Yoruba men. Atiku already secured the South East, all he needs is the South West now. I have high regards and much respect for PO, but contrary to some opinions, Atiku/PO need the South West votes to win. Are you going to force me to vote for atiku as an igbo man, since you claim he already has the south east. You sure say fufu no dey your head. ? The south east did not come out enmass and vote for Jonathan in 2015, even as an ally due to voter apathy. Is it atiku with a Yoruba VP they will come out and vote for? Ovamboland: The fact that Buhari has not arrested you means you did not do any thing illegal in your life like patronising touts, running red light, traffic offenses, evading taxes etc. Even the bribe takers know within themselves, their partners in those countries were jailed or fined but did ghosts collect the bribes? Obasanjo is forgiving Atiku of taking the bribes, but he got his own too, so he now has the power to forgive crimes. Meanwhile you who got nothing is hailing them, really sorry to be you Sorry, if atiku is a thief in the scale you guys assume he is, then it is in national interest to arrest him. Failing to arrest him would be a greater failure on the part of the president. You can't compare that to someone that flouts traffic rule. Failing to arrest atiku is a very huge failure, and I am surprised that a patriot wants that kind of president to continue. Atiku will win, and with the kind of vice president he is running with, the real anti corruption fight may finally commence. Good things after all, comes from unlikely sources. |

Butterflyleo: Why are you here disturbing right thinking Nigerians?
Why are you no longer shouting Biafra or death or no lefelendum no erection any longer?
So all this while all you wanted was a VP slot?
Even that is a confused slot and choice for you because even PMB has chosen 2 SE people for his VP slot in his past 2 Presidential attempts.
So you were not actually being marginalized, you were simply being foolish among yourselves in the SE.
Now in your foolishness you have threatened the nation, tried to create your own sovereign state in Nigeria while cursing every other tribe and calling them fools and slaves who live in a zoo.
Now you want the support of the same people you called slaves and fools and zoo dwellers.
The Same Peter Obi who has repeatedly called APC a Yoruba party and even insulted his fellow SE people who are in APC and called them Yoruba slaves.
Your answer is coming in 2019 and it will drown you.

All their biggest power brokers are in the apc. They have no single state. Even in the osun you are talking about, apc still won by hook or crook. Atiku don't need to win the south west. Ovamboland: Is it a coincidence that those who collected bribes from Halliburton, Siemens, Technip, KBR, TSKJ, have all come together to endorse one of their bribe takers? Even pastors and clerics who are no longer getting behind the scene government largess, contracts, import waivers, private jets support (they will lie their members bought it) have all come together since their feeding bottle is empty since 2015 Why didn't buhari arrest him while he was in the apc.? When he was carrying buhari up and down in his private jet campaigning , why didn't buhari object? Why have buhari not sold one single jet in the Nigerian inventory that he promised to once he got in power? Why is tinubu still a free man? You are worried about atiku. Tundeobama: According to ibos, those pdp votes in Ekiti, Oyo, Lagos , ondo and Osun are ibo votes. They are already claiming 52% of SW votes. Any Yoruba that vote this ipob party in 2019 is a fool because his vote will be counted as ibo votes. This is an avenue to marginalize SW if they win(God forbid). They will claim SW didn't vote for pdp but ibos in SW. Ibos have been trying every avenue to destroy Nigeria since 2015 because gej lost an election. It would be foolish to allow these traitors in aso rock. They will use every avenue to destroy Nigeria and no one dare try criticize the govt. They will curse anyone that dares and claim it's their time. They will tell you how you hate ibos if you criticize the govt and loot the country dry. These hateful mongrels are not fit for the office of the President. It's like giving your arsenal to the enemy. You are the hateful mongrels here. Ovamboland: Look in the mirror to see the mad one, you just said NLNG is private-public, on which stock exchange is it quoted to make it public? You are struggling to deny the obvious and making yourself look unlettered. Would it be a bad thing if a son of the soil enters this kind of partnership with all the IOC JV partners to execute major projects in the oil producing areas? No they were busy flying private jets and negotiating to buy private houses in banana island Lagos. Don't get me wrong you clown. I am not saying it is not a good thing. I am only saying it is not a big deal. NLNG is in for the business. It is the barest possible minimum considering what they are hoping to get from that region. Arthur eze is investing 800,000 dollars in South Sudan schools. And his company is fully private. It is a business decision. It is not a campaign jingle. |

benuejosh: Well said. No body wants Atiku to fail. And nobody feels SE can't produce a VP. i looked at various indices before i drew my conclusion. There's no how Atiku can penetrate SW without first having SW person very close to him. A typical yoruba man considers what favours him first. Let's be realistic to ourselves. How many Yorubas will truly vote for PDP? remember during Jonathan's regime the complained of marginalisation from Jonathan's government, which was one of the unspoken campaign strategy they used against him. Why didn't look for a way to break into the Southwest, his picking Peter Obi may remind the yorubas of the Jonathan's treatment. Definitely, if Atiku wins, he would want to come back for a second term, during the second term give the Southeast guys the VP and a promise to handover presidency to them, but for now they should take Senate presidency or secretary to government of the federation and other juicy positions. As it stands today, the whole of Southeast is for PDP, the whole of Southwest is APC, how will he break into Southwest? A normal SW person will say, nothing for them in PDP. What position would they have in his government? Even if Osinbajo has done nothing for them, they will still want him there. And permit me to say, it's only you who think Osinbajo has done nothing. This is Nigeria. The south east will not be excited by your sgf or Senate president. To now give the VP to a region that want the PdP to fail would be an insult to the east atiku would not recover from. Even the apc would use it to campaign in the East and it would work. Are you sure you are not a card carrying apc member? |
Politics › Re: Unresolved Issues Delay Formal Announcement Of Obi As Atiku’s Running Mate by RTSC: 8:45am On Oct 13, 2018 |
benuejosh: Pick Peter Obi and loose South West. Pick a Vice from Southwest and split that region. Renegotiate with South East and promise them Senate President or Secretary to government of the federation and some Juicy Positions. Then when you come back for your second term [That's if at all he wins this time] get an igbo person as Vice. With that, you have split South west and gotten hold of south East and a good fraction of North East, North Central and a good number of votes from South south. But without that, Buhari gets Southwest 100% back because Yorubas CAN'T vote out their son Osinbajo. Yorubas are not stupid. They won't join themselves to something that won't favour them. Remember the Jonathan treatment? You can't play the Yorubas. Their interest first. And you can't tell me Non-indigenes are higher than indigenes. So, Buhari captures Northwest 100%, captures Northeast 70% NorthCentral 50%. South south 40% (Edo will bring block vote, split will come from Akwa Ibom, Delta and Rivers) and South East 5%. Remember, Southwest and Northwest brings in the highest votes. Lagos, Ogun/Ibadan, Kano, Kaduna, Sokoto. In Nigerian National politics, to win, get block votes from 2 regions, 50%-70% from another and then the little from split. So i see Buhari still wins.
NOTE: it's only my analysis and Opinion. if you quote me to insult, your candidate loses. The south east does not need your Senate or sgf. We already had it. Ayim Pius anyim was even the sgf under Jonathan, not long ago . So how exactly does that excite the East given the scale of our contribution? Don't forget that we voted for atiku in the primaries , while the yorubas voted for tambuwal. Giving the VP to the SW would be a blow to him, since they have done their utmost best to destroy the pdp. Even the SS VP is understandable given their contributions. Guy, your politics is infantile. You would have done irreparable damage to any chance atiku has. |
