As long as Innoson would keep reflecting its employment quota based on the patronages from the different part of Nigeria, then it is okay.

I hear they want to build a new manufacturing plant in akwa ibom for the good people of akwa ibom.
That would be cool to hopefully serve the export market through their ports.

They should open a depot in the far north, maybe Kaduna or katsina to export to border nations like Cameroon and Niger republic maybe even to mali via land.

I learn there are about 12 million units of vehicles on Nigeria roads. A market share of 25% alone by Innoson will have huge impact on the company and also help boost quality of cars manufactured. And then over 1 billion African market. If Nigerians refuse to purchase a car manufactured by a Nigerian company, how would other Africans buy the vehicles.

It has the capacity to absorb enough people in the entire engineering value chain.
Unlike now when Mechatronics and mechanical engineers do their IT and internship in FMCG companies by maintaining their plants.
And it is a massive underutilization of their skill sets.
And that is just 4% of mechanical engineering graduates or students lucky enough to even get in.


I am not even talking about other necessary jobs like customer relations, HR, accounting, e.t.c that would arise.

But Nigerians prefer to export their jobs to Germany and Japan.
