The Minister of National Defence of Liberia, Honourable Brownie J Samukai Jr has described the Nigerian Armed Forces as very professional and outstanding, adding that he would continue to appreciate them for the training support they have been giving to his home country since 2006.
The minister made this remark when he visited Nigeria’s Chief of the Defence Staff, General Abayomi Gabriel Olonisakin in his office at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja.
The minister further stated that Liberia would forever regard Nigeria as a big brother for the role it played in the restoration of peace, democratic governance and security in their country. He said the reorganised military they have is a product of the Nigerian Armed Forces.
Samukai Jr who in the company of his country’s Ambassador to Nigeria solicited more support from the Nigerian Armed Forces in the areas of training and vacancies for courses and cooperation for enhancing bilateral defence cooperation between the two countries said that his government would stand shoulder to shoulder with Nigeria in ensuring that terrorist activities are effectively stamped out in Nigeria. He therefore, stated his country’s readiness to support in whatever way to rout out terrorism in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
Responding, the CDS thanked the minister for the visit and assured him that the two countries would continue to partner in order to be able to contribute in the development of the two countries and the sub-region in general.
He also pleaded that the Nigerian Armed Forces would continue to render training support to the Armed Forces of Liberia in order to ensure collective security to the sub-region and the world at large.

No south eastern state share boundary with any countary and it those not have direct access to sea, so little or no costum duty is being generated in Enugu international airport.

most of the costum revenues is being generated in lagos (dont have the data). state of ogun, oyo, niger, kebbi. sokoto, kano, jigawa, borno, cross river are the other state that custom generate revenue from do to their boudary to other sovereign state.

porth harcourt, abuja and lagos airport leads in the airport that generate most of the costum revenue in airport other airports generate little or no custom revenue.

So base on all these indices its only the state of Lagos, Akwa ibom, Delta, Rivers, Bayelsa and Ogun that can stand as a soveriegn nation and compete with any of the most develop nation in africa base on the reality on ground and not emotional believe of some people.

i would suggest you see an immigration lawyer ASAP. You can see their agents as well. They will probably refer u to a lawyer. Challenge it in court. I think the uk government pays for the challenge. unless things have changed again.

Chief, I was refused with my GMC confirmation email, PLAB 1 result... those ppl can be crazy atimes o. Since when is it a problem to have more than your disposable income in an unemployment jungle like Naija where ppl can work till they drop just to make ends meet sef? I was refused in 24hrs!!!

Cameroon receiving Mi-24s

Cameroon has apparently received the first of two refurbished Mi-24 attack helicopters from Russia, as part of an order for six.

A Cameroonian military source told IHS Jane’s Defence Weekly that the first helicopter was received by Cameroon’s Rapid Intervention Battalion (BIR) in mid-February when it arrived in Douala from Russia, where it is currently being assembled.

The second is expected to arrive later this year. IHS Jane’s said the aircraft were originally expected in October 2015, but delivery was delayed as new weapons and avionics were being fitted.

Cameroonian media last year reported that the military would on 12 October receive six Mi-24s from Russia.

The two Mi-24s will be placed at the disposal of the BIR’s Operation Alpha Command, tasked with tackling Boko Haram militants in the Far North Province of Cameroon, joining two Mi-17s acquired from Russia in 2013 as well as Bell 412 and Gazelle helicopters, the latter equipped with HOT missiles.

Cameroon’s Air Force has very few combat aircraft (Mi-24s, Gazelles, Alpha Jets and Impalas), but most of these are believed to be unserviceable.

The Far North Province has been subjected to multiple attacks by Boko Haram, prompting the BIR to intervene. This is supported by the army with an armoured reconnaissance battalion and motorised infantry brigade.

According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), Cameroon has taken delivery of a variety of new hardware over the last five years, including five Type-07 armoured personnel carriers, six Type-07P/VN-1 infantry fighting vehicles, four Z-9 helicopters and two P-108 patrol craft from China, a single OPV-54 patrol craft from Russia, two Aresa-3200 patrol craft and one CN235 transport aircraft from Spain an two Bell 412 helicopters from the United States.

In September last year it was announced that Cameroon will receive a single Insitu ScanEagle unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) system from the United States by September this year in a deal worth $9.49 million.

In October 2014 Germany donated 60 Mercedes Wolf vehicles and 60 Unimog trucks to support the country’s fight against Boko Haram
