In the last 8 years when the delta state governor was from anioma, no one cried about how he glaringly marginalized the urhobos, isoko, ijaw, itsekiris and even the ndokwas. Okowa did nothing for these ethnic nationalities for 8 years. No one talked about creation of anioma state. Just one year after an urhobo man becomes governor, the anioma chorus and state creation drive has started. Why do Nigerian ethnic nationalities now use break up or secession as a political strategy for demanding return to power? And is it not too early for the anioma to start nagging and disturbing? Why are they so toxic to the other nationalities in delta state

The anioma people are unnecessarily envious of the urhobos. They fail to realise that they are undeveloped because they have selfish anioma leaders. The urhoboland is more developed because urhobo leaders care about their hometown development.

For example many federal agencies sited in urhobo land today were influenced to urhobo land by the urhobo senators and house of rep members. Anioma has equal number of representatives at the federal level as the urhobos. Delta south (ijaw, itsekiri and isoko) also have equal representatives at the federal level. So how is it that only urhobo senators bring federal projects to their home state and site them mostly in urhobo land. Do you expect urhobo senator to influence a project in Abuja and take it to anioma land when anioma has their own representative doing nothing in Abuja?
