People are just being ethnocentric. When I was in primary school, I used to see Northern kids with pierced noses. Isn't that a cultural thing? What makes the ears good for piercing but not the nose? If babies have thier noses pierced where she comes from, what make your own nose piercing superior to thiers? As usual, y'all have gathered to insult women. That's basically your hobby; what a woman should do, how a woman should dress, how a woman should talk, how a woman should walk, etc. If you spent just a fraction of that effort on yourselves, society would've been much more better.

Nobody is saying women like you must not be allowed to dress nude, or pierce vagina or wear rings or die hair. What they are saying is that as a parent you have to respect your child. Allow them grow up to ages where they can decide for themselves. You don't have to force them to adopt indecency or prostitution because it is your way. Women like you don't want husband to force a lifestyle on you but you want to force your lifestyle on your baby kids. We are saying we want freedom for you women to make your choices, we also want freedom for baby girls to decide what they want so let them grow up to age 16 and decide if they want those nipple, vagina or nose piercing, tattoos, colored hairs, etc. Don't take away their freedom of choice just because they are too young to decide their own value system and then impose your impaired reasoning on them.

These slowpoke people must blame someone for their failure. When will you grow mature to reason indipendently?the community that failed to allow peace to reighn to the extent of killing soldiers should be dealt with . If other regions are doing like yours where will you people migrate to or the ball on your Neck has no value?

A yoruba President - Obasanjo ordered that 1500 Ijaw women and kids be killed in Odi
Another Yoruba President - Tinubu ordered soldiers to kill and burn down Ijaws and Urhobos and their communities - Okuama and Igbomotoru

No fulani president ever gave such order. Yaradua -a fulani opted for peace through amnesty

Obasanjo allowed sharia law and sharia court following riots among fulanis in the north - He was afraid of fulanis
Tinubu opted for negotiation with communities when bandits killed 25 soldiers in minna - He was afraid of them

The problem of nigeria is not fulanis. The problem is yoruba. The yoruba love hiding under presidential power to commit attrocities. Tinubu that was afraid and was running from france to UK during endsars is here forming boldness sending fulanis to kill south south indigenes inorder to gain validation from the north over the northern officers that millitants wasted. Yoruba tribes are vagabond, criminals and pure evil. They have pure generational hatred for igbos and because the SW educational system is half-bred, they dont tend to know the difference between igbos and ijaws or urhobos. They transfer their pure hatred for igbos to the SS minorities whose oil resources is used for feeding every yoruba man in public sector today

See Balyelsa N22.8bn, Delta N38bn. Wow!

But what are most Governors doing with such huge monthly allocations eh.

Only a few governors we can actually point to.

We truly need to hold our governors accoutable. Enough of focus at Centre
you don't want us to focus on the center because a Yoruba man is at the center. Whatever the 36 states got is not up to what the center got. From the sharing formula, FG gets 56%, 36 states share 27% of overall, 17% goes to 774 LG. It's better you advocate that every state should own and develop their resources instead of you Yoruba folks putting your eyes on the tiny allocation that comes to the Niger delta from what was originally theirs 100%.
You insult our sensibilities with the allocation concept and having your eyes on the little coming here is greed. Develop your own resources and use for yourself

Those of us in the SS who lived 10 years not in Lagos but in the very heart of Yoruba land know this truth. It is an evil people

Nigeria is a fraud epicenter. That's the reason no one abroad invests here whether real estate or whatever. People cannot trust their wicked family members not to steal their life savings, people cannot trust registered real estate agents or even building contractors and bricklayers who regularly steal cements from project site.

No amount of writeup can bring the needed investment to a country plagued with a culture of theft

Madam, you are in love with this violent man of yours. Any effort to help you get a house is still going to be a waste. You have always known him to be a gambler but still married him hoping to help change him. You are broke now, that's why you want a respite but if you had enough you will indulge him and be working to change him.

Listen, people's bad habits only get worse after marriage. They never improve. You do not believe in divorce, so you cannot be helped. Two of you will keep engaging and the gambling will still continue till eternity. He is not an average gambler.

Right now, a demon is involved- that's why he goes violent and does it at the expense of his survival. You are clinging to a sinking ship by refusing to divorce that man. Don't fear society people, free yourself. Maybe he is under a spell. But then too, you have been yoked together to suffer the consequences of the spell through your marriage to him. But you can liberate yourself from the spell not by prayers but by divorce which is a more practical way to get deliverance for yourself

BannedUser:

Dey play. I don't know which reality you are living in.

1. Binance is not the only CEX in the world. There are hundreds!

2. Taxation can only work with KYC exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, etc.

3. Nigerian crypto community will migrate to Telegram, WhatsApp, etc. for P2P transactions in order to avoid taxes on KYC exchanges. P2P transactions don't need exchanges like Binance to operate. Binance is only serving as an escrow/moderator.

4. Even it is possible to ban all CEXs from operating in Nigeria, Nigerians will migrate to non-KYC CEXs and DEXs for their crypto trading activities.

5. You literally cannot stop crypto activity in a Country. Even a technologically advanced country like China has not succeed in stopping it.
There are only a handful of exchanges and P2P escrows that accept NGN fiat deposit. Telegram escrows were here before now, trust issues won't make them stand. Besides it's easiest to ban telegram groups. Many of the decentralized exchanges especially the DeFi do not accept NGN, it's only a handful of centralized exchanges that do through their peer to peer platform. USA has closed down several exchanges from working in USA. Even binance was forced to create a separate platform for US users because of the regulations in the US which provides for taxation of crypto assets of US nationals. In US, the security and exchange commission regulates crypto exchanges and imposes fines worth billions of dollars on any erring exchange. It doesn't matter whether they have offices in USA or not. Despite relocating Binance offices in a country he thinks has crypto friendly laws, Binance CEO was recently convicted in the USA. If you target the CEOs of major international exchanges for prosecution in court for violating a Nigerian legislation, let's say 50 exchanges, they will all cut off Nigeria and disable NGN on P2P for Nigeria. Blocking IP addresses alone cannot work, that's what china is doing. USA doesn't block IP address, they simply prosecute the company's CEO and board for violating a crypto law put in place by the US govt for all businesses with a concern in the US. If you make money from US residents, your company is automatically going to pay tax whether you have offices in USA or not. By their law, you do KYC and US citizens financial activities must be reported for taxation purpose. Naturally, some exchanges shut down their operation in the US because they can't comply and can't pay fine. If you prosecute CEOs or request their extradition, they will find a way to comply with your country law. Blocking IP alone won't work

The easiest way is to do it USA style. Make it a crime punishable by paying $2billion fine for any exchange to trade in naira NGN either through P2P or otherwise. Or impose a 70% tax on every NGN withdrawal. You will sue binance international to court for non compliance with the 70% tax. Automatically, binance and other exchanges themselves will ban NGN fiat deposit and withdrawal to avoid paying $2 billion fine. The end users themselves will stop trading when they are forced by binance to pay such tax because it will make arbitration unprofitable

Religion / Re: There Are No Proof Of God's Existence Other Than Faith by Ruke1989: 9:40am On Jan 21
Those who don't believe God exist believe devil exists. Op for example cannot deny the existence of witches because he knows one or two in his family and community that has confessed. He also believes devil exists because he sees yahoo boys commanding money after satanic sacrifices. He believes demons exist because he comes from a community that has a goddess or god that has rules and those who violate the rules get punished. OP, has seen or known charms work because he knows people get hypnotized by 419ers and ritualists who use one chance buses to move passengers from cities to the forest without anyone raising alarm even when gun is not used to threaten the passengers.
The OP is not able to know that when there is bad, there must be good. When there is light, there must be darkness. When there is fake, there must be original. Why? Because he is blinded by thesame evil forces and demons which he unknowingly believes in. Human sciences cannot produce man, human sciences could not produce a planet, human sciences did not produce sea. How did you expect same limited science to proof the existence of the unlimited one (God). If man evolved trillions of years ago from monkey, can science tell you the proof of the exact number of years it took with evidence? What then evolved into monkey or was monkey created? Where did the sun evolve from? Science cannot explain all things because science too is limited just as your knowledge as a man is limited. Science is not God, it's not the solution to all things, because science itself is limited to the limit of human knowledge

Religion / Re: TB Joshua Disciples And wisemen Speaks by Ruke1989: 3:06am On Jan 11
Stop all the PR. TB Joshua at his level should not be living next door to teenagers in Bible class called disciples. The fact that they were 15 to 18 years at the material time shows something is wrong. He could have released his younger pastors to disciple them. Why him personally? Does he have so much time in his hands? At 50+ he could disciple 30-50 years old folks if he has the time to be inviting them for bible reading classes. Most men of God of his status are so busy you can't easily see them. Guy, except you are paid by the church to do this PR, if not, then you have been irretrievably brainwashed. God does not call you to idolize a man of God. He calls you to repentance. Have you repented from your dead works? Are you free from sexual perversion or are you defending perversion

That guy is Yoruba. They suffer from pain and superiority complex. When other tribes outshine their tribe, they are out to fight back. Oyo, Ife empire has no international reputation, artifact or evidence to show today. But the story tellers think Yoruba should have had a greater empire since they are more in population. He is trying to destroy the work of ogiso dynasty to pace way for their regular oba is Yoruba word and eweka is Yoruba. The guy is desperate to ascribe the accomplishments of the great people of igodomigodo to a Yoruba oriminla. Igodomigodo was already a great empire before oduduwa was born. So, historically, all these Yoruba tales are just like attachees by force. He wants you to believe the twisted writeup of an ethnic Yoruba historian, but at the same time rubbishing Benin oral tradition and indigenous Benin historians. If not foolishness, how can a Yoruba man who lived outside Benin empire, who was born 1700 years after igodomigodo was created, who was an illiterate until the white man taught him how to read or write just 200 years ago, How could he possibly want to be a historian and authority on issues that happened 1500 years before he was born? Something his own father's and ancestors knew nothing about? And he is throwing under the bus those whose ancestors are directly responsible for creating the artifact and empire? As typical with any city, cities attract migrant villagers who come for trade and economic reason and security. Yorubas were drawn to Benin empire for trade, security and economic reasons. Over time, Yorubas exported their gods, voodoos there and intermarried with the locals. That's what gave birth to the itsekiri tribes and some language mixup. That doesn't make Edo people yoruba

Politics / Re: Opobo Is Igbo Land Deal With It by Ruke1989: 6:12pm On Nov 25, 2023
Language is learned skill, it's not biologically passed. Marrying igbo women, trading in igbo slaves is the major reason igbo language infiltrated rivers state. Ijaws treated their domestic slaves as freeborn having equal right with children born into a home, that's why jaja who came as a slave boy could rise to become king. Igbos don't treat their ebonyi slaves with such dignity, that's why it is hard for them to accept this truth from ijaws. You can't teach them their history. Because igbo slave dealership was a big time business, the natives learnt the language to be successful in the business. Igbo was a business language for the ethnic ijaws of opobo

Politics / Re: Opobo Is Igbo Land Deal With It by Ruke1989: 6:03pm On Nov 25, 2023
You cannot tell the history of a people for them. The opobo governor and people of opobo says they are ijaw but to satisfy your ego, you say no they must be igbo. I know it's hard for you to understand that language is learned and because we all speak English doesn't make us British citizens.

I am from orogun town in delta state. In orogun, we speak ukwani, urhobo and some understand isoko. Some orogun people like myself speak ukwani (adulterated igbo dialect) but do not speak urhobo. How is this possible?

1) intermarriages: two generations backward, it was a taboo for orogun people to marry from within orogun. It was considered incest. I didn't know this history but through an observation. I asked my maternal grandmother now in her 80s that why did most grannies of their time marry to women or men from igbo speaking towns. She told me it was considered incest and was a taboo to marry from our town orogun if you are orogun, so they all marry from the neighboring towns which speak urhobo, isoko and ukwani so as not to break a taboo. The taboo was lifted by a king that emerged in her time making it possible for her to marry from orogun. Because of the intermarriages, urhobo was becoming an extinct language in orogun (an urhobo town)
2) proximity to the ukwani, isoko and urhobo meant they traded in these three languages, married from those communities. South South people are more open minded and embrace people of other cultures, learn other cultures than the igbo, Yoruba and hausa. That doesn't mean they have lost their biological makeup (DNA) just because they welcome and assimilate other cultures. Ijaw people treats their slaves/domestic servants as freeborn having equal right as children born into a home. That's why jaja of opobo, a slave boy could rise to become king of opobo. In contrast, igbos from Anambra deny igbos of ebonyi any right because they are seen as slaves by birth. Igbos are unable to comprehend how south south minority tribes assimilate other cultures because they view the whole thing from their igbo mindset whereby people are discriminated against of they are considered slave or even if seen as non igbo

WHAT IS THE BIGGEST CULTURE SHOCK YOU HAVE EVER WITNESSED ??
1. In the eastern part of Nigeria whr a woman loses her husband to death, she must drink from the water used to wash his corpse to prove that she has no hands in his death
2. In Benue, when man has guests in his house and they are sleeping over, he is expected to give one of his wives to the guest for the night.
3. In Yoruba land, if a man dies while committing adultery, his corpse will be thrown out through a window..
ADD URS!!!
1) when a Yoruba king dies, the abobaku (kings servant) is buried alive together with the corpse of the dead king
2) when a new Yoruba king is to be coronated, the heart of the late king will be removed from his corpse and given to the new king to it
3) it is a taboo for the wife of a Yoruba king to touch the head of her husband. Young yorubas don't know this
4) Yoruba kings are buried with the head of 7 human beings. These people are killed by the palace cult called ogboni fraternity which originate from Yoruba land

Why leave a ministerial position to be a senator?
Tinubu gave him a difficult job. The labour minister and federal government has been serially deceiving NLC, Johesu and labour unions by signing and reneging on agreements. Simon saw that this will give him a bad name in the long run and decided to flee than to be used as a pawn by tinubu to frustrate NLC and other unions which later will destroy his own political career when workers see him as the problem
