hello, I'm suddenly having the same issue. They've locked funds in my skrill account, won't let me withdraw, send or anything and they are asking me for verification. I was able to do identity verification but they rejected all the documents that I sent so far for proof of address. I am currently looking to get my NIMC temporary slip. I don't know if they will accept that one for proof of address. Please, I'd appreciate any help or guidance on this issue. Thanks. |

i recommend c# why? c# is useful for developing almost all types of applications for different platforms: 1. web development with asp.net 2. creating desktop apps 3. creating windows 8 apps 4. creating android apps and even apps that run on mac (using mono) the only other language that offers this sort of cross platform ability is java (as far as i know though) but i think c# is better because with c# you can create more beautiful interfaces easily. with java you can do same but it's just harder most times...with c# you can put in half the effort and still get a better looking interface. the trend in technology now involves the use of neat and attractive user interfaces so even if your program is the best...it won't be marketable if it's not attractive to the average user. except if you want to make only programs that other programmers will use then you should keep user interfaces in mind and keep that as a priority too. if you want to get started explore the free resources at: http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/beginners/ |
okay...so before you spend any dime on getting training to be a web developer or web designer there are two things you should find out: 1. the difference between web design and web development (and there is a difference). 2. exactly which one do you want to do if you do choose to be a web developer then which one do you want to do 1. front end web development 2. server side web development when you've made up your mind...explore the following free training options (while paying for training is good...and in fact...if you really want to get serious, you'd need to invest in yourself, i don't think you should make any financial commitments until you've got a feel for whatever you've decided to learn...just to see if it's good for you). so check out the sites below: 1. http://www.codecademy.com/ i love these guys because you learn by doing...you actually code along with them as they teach you and it's all free. 2. http://www.codeschool.com these people have some free courses on web development you can try out but most of their courses and training are still paid for though. okay, i hope this was useful to you. |
c++ is not a programming language of choice when it comes to GUI programming because even with the available languages (i have used Qt in the past) it's user interfaces can't be as visually appealing as those created with other .NET languages like c# and Vb. but here is what c++ is great for 1. Game programming: c++ is the language of choice when it comes to creating game engines and it is the standard language used in the video game production industry. for people interested in becoming game programmers...feel free to check out the amazing training provided by game institute: http://gameinstitute.com/....it's really cheap compare to all the content you'll get but don't take my word for it...check it out yourself. 2. Operating system programming: well in case you didn't know the original version of the linux operating system was created using c++ and most other applications that interact directly with hardware require the use of C, c++, objective C...generally the C languages though. 3. Arduino programming: c++ works well with this. |
okay...i'm just trying to chip something in here...when i wanted to learn web development at first i had a real problem trying to decide which language was best to learn. and i had no idea which skill set was the most important for me. for people new to web development, some things they should know is that: 1. web design is different from web development 2. you can choose to be a front end web developer or a server side web developer. 3. no matter what you plan on doing in web development: you'll need to learn a bit of HTML and CSS and to some extent javascript... so that said...i'd like to discuss why i think php is the server side language of choice 1. it's been there for a long time so most third party code you'll use will be written in php (and unless you intend to spend months of your life working on building one project from scratch...you'll need to use third party or external code). 2. with regards to using wordpress or other content management systems...php is the language of choice python and ruby are gaining ground and i'll admit python and ruby are neater than php...but php is still the way to go. |
Freelancing is the way forward my friend. if you have any skills at all...be it writing, graphics, programming, web development....whatever you'd quickly make money as a freelancer working for clients online. but that's if you just want quick money...you'd be able to easily make your money by doing what clients want. but getting clients to hire you the first time is where freelancing gets tough but if you stay through and work hard...in about a month you should be making cool though. but not all freelance sites pay Nigerians though. but some that do are: http://freelancer.com/ http://elance.com/ i personally use both of the sites above. but another way to make money online is by problogging. and note that most nigerian bloggers are not even close to being updated on the rules of the game. i won't speak more on this because i am still trying to learn my way around and i don't believe in telling people to try things that have not worked for me. but a good nigerian problogger i know runs this blog: http://webincomeplus.com/ i think, if you really want to know how to make money online with blogging or anything that has to do with owning a website then you have to take advantage of the free articles and ebooks on that site at least as far as the Nigerian context is concerned. and note that the founder of that site (web income plus) started out as a freelance writer. so freelancing is still the best start if you ask me. |
Hello there, in response to your original post i think if you want to learn programming go for c#. here's why: C# can be used for developing apps for a lot of platforms and if you're going to stay relevant as a programmer you need to be able to develop applications and software that will run on the web, mobile devices and computers. the best languages that offer this ability to program for many platforms are c# and java. however...the trend in technology now is beautiful user interfaces. c# allows you to create beautiful user interfaces for web development, mobile development and normal windows development. so i'd suggest c# and if you do plan on getting started....there are free and comprehensive resources on this site (from free ebooks to free articles) : http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/beginners/ if you have any other questions please feel free to ask. |
