1. Nigerian Midstream & Downstream Regulatory Authority |NMDRA| formally known as PEF, DPR & PPPRA has gotten weiver from FCC not to advertise.

2. List will be out towards end of the year. Ariwa Consultative Forum has written to the ES to register their displeasure for less representation & discussion is ongoing.

3. The recruitment this time may be a bit flexible.

4. N/B; Don’t lobby through NASS please.

5. Forgive me for derailing the platform.

Please, pardon my outburst. I just want to know if there is something fundamentally wrong with Nigerian Agencies/parastatals? None, I mean none of the agencies I have applied for has ever commenced and concluded(some were never even concluded) a recruitment in less than 15 months; NNPC, NLNG, FIRS, DPR, NCDMB. I mean none! I have been in the private industry space for a while now and it doesn't take anywhere near this long to complete a recruitment process. Heck! even multinationals that pay over 3 to 5 times what these agencies pay do not take that long. Will this ever change?
I just want to implore those of us that will successfully be employed into this agency, we can really do better. our leaders in every facet of anything 'Nigerian' has failed us and if this trend continues, we may not even have a country to look towards in the next decade. Gosh, we can really do better.

Good morning....

Management of NCDMB and FCC are currently working hand in hand to continue the recruitment as early as possible..

Candidate who meet the required cut off and asked to upload documents has all been stratified to to different categories base on qualification for interviews. Also ineligible candidates base on age and qualifications has been weeded out.

The Interview will likely be held virtually due to security situation of the country, though FCC are proposing a physical Interview at Abuja.

Date of the interview will be communicated as soon as NCDMB and FCC comes to an agreement.


The Senate Committee on local content has also meet with FCC for the continuation on the recruitment exercise....

This is good news. Please do you have any idea who and how they weeded out based on qualifications?

My Arewa brother don't be afraid. The requirement you stated for EH Applicants was for one not to be above 40 years old by 31st of December, 2020.

They're working on the final list. They might likely not be Oral Interviews again, even if they sent out mails for that, it would be as good as securing the employment already. This information is from a personal staff of the Chief Executive. Thank you.

I believe when they called for applications, no one here provided the details. When the test was scheduled and scored, no one here did the scheduling nor scoring. When they realised they needed to fill for vacancies, no one here decided that. So I believe no one here will/can/should/would know if the process has been stalled or not. No need for blackmails. Why don't we wait for them, the way we waited for them when we took the test and the subsequent upload of documents?

Honestly boss, you know what's up. CBN na just name, pay is only decent. I've worked closely with organisation for a while, most of them depend on soft loans. Just like with other public agencies, only when you get to top management level (or work with HQ) before you begin to really enjoy the job. There are many organisations better than CBN.
Bills will eventually choke you unless you're comfortable living a very conservative life.

It's like you people don't know how much CBN pays. Plus that thing you call soft loans is actually hard loan abeg. I know someone who works there. What he once did with money within 6 months shocked me.

For those who contend that NCDMB can not issue Appointment Letters without interview, there is a precedence. INEC recruitment 2012. After the aptitude test, those who passed were asked to upload their documents and links were provided for each of the qualifications a candidate claimed to have in the application portal. After verification, those selected were called for interview in various centres around the country. Instead of interview, they were offered Letter of Appointments and resumed work by March, 2013.
I was made to understand that this recruitment will follow the same process.

You are right. I have a friend who got that employment. They were given APL straight after document upload. But you must also note that all of them were employed with their 1st degree. All masters degree holders were deemed overqualified and were not even considered during the process. In fact, one guy was almost disqualified during documentation because he presented his masters degree certificate.

1..The first point for screening is, Them asking you the POSITION you applied for...
It gotten to the notice that plenty of the applicant can't even remember the position they applied for..
So for the those going to be called please try to remember the particular position you applied for.
And some person upload two different CV, with information about their experience with different date.. .so they honestly have means of screening..... the interview is going to be in batch....
You will have to do pre test same day before the interview on the field u applied for....cheers guys....please keep studying with the little time we have....

Omo see problem. I truly can't remember the position I applied for oh. Someone should please assist with details of the positions please if you have. Especially for those in IT.

30% strictly on merit, 30% catchment area, 30% in house, 10% presidency. That's the schedule. At this point you all need to pray seriously to at least be among one. The once who recieved already are strictly on merit and they are just 30% of what's the agency would be absorbing. Success to us all
