He also said, “Significant progress has been made regarding readiness to restart domestic aviation industry. A few gaps remaining which will be closed hopefully in next couple of days. We have to get it right both in technical safety and health safety.”

Nuhu also noted that after the dry run tests, the FG would identify the gaps that might be there and close them. After that, the date for resumption of domestic flight operations by next week would be announced.

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has announced its readiness to submit the aviation restart plan to the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 by Wednesday, June 25, 2020.

This was disclosed by the Director-General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Captain Musa Nuhu, during an interactive session with stakeholders in the aviation industry at a forum on the way forward, which held over the weekend.

UBA ADS
He explained that the industry was eager for restart, just as the airlines were pushing for it. He stated that in the over 3-month break period, the finances of NCAA had been negatively affected.

According to Captain Nuhu, “We are yet to get there but we are pretty close. The plan is that by Wednesday, we will submit our report to PTF. I reiterate, we are pretty close.

GTBank 728 x 90
“Your lack of operations put NCAA in a difficult situation. Our revenue is down by 90 to 95 per cent. We are almost ready. Like I said earlier, not all the airlines and airports have to be necessarily ready before the restart.

“If anything goes wrong, NCAA will be held responsible. Sometime this week, the proposed restart date will be made known.”

Going further, he said, “If the airports get it right, the airlines job will be made easier. The airlines that have disinfected their aircraft should show proof to NCAA. On the middle seats, we need to listen to the health authority, even though I do not support the middle seat regime.

“We are liaising with the health authority to get the best for the airlines. It is our interest that airlines start flying yesterday.”

The Chairman of NCAA COVID-19 committee, Engr. Godwin Balang, while disclosing the guidelines control measures employed by NCAA towards the restart of the industry, said that they were based on 10 key principles.

GTBank 728 x 90

The DG NCAA, however, pointed out that the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) carried the bulk of the pressure and efforts were being made to get it right as airports are the most critical part of the value chain.

Meanwhile, in a related development, the Minister for Aviation, Hadi Sirika, has assured Nigerians that the expected resumption of flight operations by domestic airlines may not necessarily lead to hike in air fares.

I'm not based in Denmark. I just have friends in Denmark. And also I have danish friends all of them can speak English. But I think the best route is through studies. Denmark is a very tough country, they are done everything possible to stop immigrant from coming to their country. If you have the money, then the easiest way is through the study route. All my friends went as students. If you want to go there through any other means is going to be hard, but not impossible. Assuming you have someone in Denmark who could send you an invitation later to come over. But then again is almost impossible to turn your visit visa to a permanent visa. So my brother. If you truly want to go to Denmark, then just apply to their universities, the minimum tuition fees is 6k euros. But the are very friendly. I have about 23 danish friends, and all of them can speak perfect English. Just go to YouTube and see. It's just the older generation that can't speak English. Please don't give up oo. Still make more enquiry.

Estonia is now offering digital nomad visas to attract remote workers
TIMESOFINDIA.COM|TRAVEL NEWS, ESTONIA Created : Jun 18, 2020, 21.02 IST

Estonia is soon going to introduce digital nomad visas, thereby becoming one of the first countries to establish such a visa. This means you can take your laptop and work remotely from the Baltic European Union country without any hassle now.

As per the latest reports, Estonia Government has approved the amendments to the Alien Act to allow the creation of a digital nomad visa, thereby becoming the first-ever country to introduce it.

In the wake of COVID-19 pandemic this year, working remotely might just become a trend, which will likely stay around for some time, maybe even after the virus perishes. In such a scenario, this news will serve the purpose of all those who operate businesses that doesn’t require physical infrastructure, as Estonia is offering an e-residency that will allow you to set up operations there.

And with more remote workers than any time in history around the world, some countries are in fact seeing the benefits of courting folks, who are digitally savvy, employed, high earning, and are able to work from anywhere.

Credit: iStock
As per the Estonia Ministry of Interior, a digital nomad visa will allow internationals engaged in jobs that are independent of location and time, mostly in the field of finance, technology, or marketing, to work in Estonia. The Ministry further explains that this kind of visa will be granted for both short-and- long-term stay.

Referring to this, Estonia Prime Minister Mart Helme said a digital nomad visa strengthens Estonia’s image as an e-state, and enables Estonia to have a more effective say on an international scale. It also contributes to the export of Estonian e-solutions, which is especially important in recovering from the current economic crisis, he added.

As per the Estonia Government, the Digital Nomad Visa Program will be implemented gradually. According to preliminary estimates mentioned by the Ministry of Interior, nearly 1,800 people might be eligible for a digital nomad visa per year.

I understand am not discouraging anyone from going there even Denmark was once on my bucket list but due to language barrier I had to switch you can also see some argument up there whereby a guy was accusing me of discouraging everyone which I never did what am saying in essence is they spend Danish krone and it's a bit low not up to dollar, euro, and pounds that's what am trying to figure out
And as you've said earlier currency shouldn't be a barrier when setting up a decision of migrating to a country let me give you a little help go on IG search for their News update like some news and also comment from there you get to Meet some of their citizens slide into their dm ask them random questions about their country you can tell him/her you want to migrate to their country that what are the advantage of the country and things to know before going

Might sound somehow to you but this is what I do when am on IG like for instance I want to migrate to Netherlands I go through their News update, and Universities on IG I like and comment some of their Post and dm some of them and luckily I found a girl living in Rotterdam Netherlands I told her am a Nigerian and would like to migrate to their country she told me all the things am supposed to know it's even from her that I heard that 99% of Dutch speak English correctly so please am not discouraging anyone if you're serious about migrating then currency shouldn't be a problem to you
please I will love you to give me the avenue to get vital information I needed to know to move there, thanks so much for your effort man Godbless.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Full Lists Of Occupation With Skill Shortage In Australia And New Zealand by Runtown07: 2:39pm On Jun 16, 2020
equilogng:
What are skills shortages?

Finding a career that you enjoy and are good at can help you succeed in the workforce.

But it can also be useful to understand what skills are in demand or may be in demand in the future (called 'skills shortages'). The Department of Employment conducts regular research to identify what skills are in short supply across Australia.

The demand for skilled employees can vary from region to region. Skills shortages are caused by many different factors such as:

people moving out of regional areas
not enough training places for certain skilled occupations
changes in technology
a large increase in construction work in a region.

Skill shortages can benefit job seekers because:

there may be more job vacancies and less competition for people with that skill and
wages and conditions may be better if employers need to attract people to the occupation.

For information on which occupations are experiencing skills shortages visit the National, state and territory skill shortage information page on the Department of Employment's website.

This report can help you understand which skills and jobs are in shortage and where there may be opportunities. However, it’s important not to pursue an occupation just because it is currently in shortage. The labour market can change quickly and the occupation may not be in shortage for long. It's more important to find something that you enjoy and that interests you.
Occupations treated as exceptions

When we assess applications for Essential Skills Work Visas or award points for Skilled Migrant Resident Visas, occupations on this list will be treated as being skill level 1 to 3 — but only if you are paid at least the New Zealand median wage of NZD $25.50 per hour.
