If u r a bride this not particular with hat she gets as long as it's I think budget then u can ask trusted friend n family to oversee etc, but most brides want to have a say and ensure its what they ask for, then u should overlook it personally but based on what u said. I suggest wedding planner

Hello killing a cow is not necessarily bad. It depends on your crowd. Trust me for some number it may even be cheaper to kill a cow than buy in portions.

Also cows come in different sizes, so u can get a small one if the crowd is small

Finally, rather than just dismiss d idea, try n understand her reasons and also lay down ur reasons, other than not necessarily, something g more tangible. A cow is actually part of food, so it's either u kill or cow or buy in portions, so seat down n weigh both options n u both can agree on what is best. Am sure this way u can both agree as u will work thru the answer together

Hello in that case u have two options:
1. Everywhere I put orange for the main wedding change to coral. But i prefer orange as it will look nicer.orange is loud. Hence I said hint/ highlights. E.g. For bridal train the orange/ coral is incorporated in flowers/bouquet or accessory but stick to plain lemon green dress

If u want coral to make bolder appearance
Swap the wedding day colour with the engagement.so all colours will be used but different day. So for engagement lemon green with cream ( +/- highlight coral/orange), follow my previous breakdown, n then couple emerald green n peach

For white : navy blue n coral n d others as I described b4
This way train can even have coral dress
Bouquet n accessory- blue

I know ur groom loves green, n this way there will only be small green (flowers lol)on the wedding day he got his way on engagement, u have ur way on wedding day everyone is happy.including mother in law as her aso oke will be worn on engagement day

It's all about compromise. U cant have eeveryone's colour all in one day.

I really want want coral on the wedding day esp for my train, orange is too loud for me. And I just learnt the aso-ebi colour must be in accordance with d decor colour. Hello, u r welcome. Based on what u said here is my suggestion. I kept the couple outfit d same n also left d wedding family clothe colour the same as those are fixed now.
Pls.note a wedding colour is important which is why I pointed those out before the breakdown u wanted.. you put the wedding colour in IV and give vendors so they knw ur colour theme.

Engagement colour: navy blue and coral

Couple : emerald green and peach
Parents: sky blue and navy blue gele
Families/aso ebi: navy blue and coral. Can have coral material a with a mixed-colour gele

Weddingcolour theme: lemon green and cream and hint of orange

Deco and bridal party: as above ( I recommend orange as highlights only for pop of colour)
Parents: coral/cream/lemon green material and orange gele (/ means or)
Families / aso ebi: lemon green and cream ( no orange)


Hope this helps and don't hesitate to ask more questions.

Also this is just one in many possible combinations.
Am sure by tommorrow ,might even come up with some thing else lol. The main things :
:2-3 colours max ( in some cases 4 if 1-2 r neutral colours like white, gold,cream,milk etc or/and if some of the colours r different shades of Same colour Family)
:u r comfortable with the colours n u like them
: the colours go together and will look nice in various elements of the wedding

My advice:
Choose colour(s) for couple n den choose ur weddingcolur(s)
Obviously u want ur parents to standout, that can easily be done by how u do combination, e.g. they only go with one of the wedding colours and combine with a new colour. U don't have to preselected it, whoever will go n buy it can do that, depending on what they see when buying
The parent usually wear different gele from guest- both wedding colour, so u can split the wedding colours like that
Then the guest can wear the other colour for their clothes n for the gele the second colour

The whole point of aso ebi is for colour coordination. So everything has to blend in to get.

Hello. Am assuming ur wedding colour is milk and navy blue?

The most common way milk has been used is as a third colour. But in ur case as ur husband is wearing the tie( d suit is not really an issue if he can change his shirt), then it seems milk ought to make a bold appearance on d day as well as navy blue

For ur bridesmaid, they wear navy blue dress and u can incorporate blue flowers mixed with milk colour or ivory.
Shoe can be either navy blue, silver or ivory

Another option to even add to that. ur Maid of honour wear a milk dress(if u don't mind as it will be similar to urs in terms of colour, but u will still stand out!) with blue accessories like hair. His best man is dressing similar to him
Ur other bridesmaid wear blue dress as above n grooms men have blue tie? I don't know wat ur husband has chosen for their suit n shir....

Also for the milk colour, pls I suggest u go to the market and maybe buy half yard of the milk colour u want in any material and give to key people e.g decorator, aso ebi person etc, because milk is one colour that has a few variant, some r even slightly yellowy etc, this way ur colour will not be lost.

For pictures don't have any as haven't done milk d navy blue wedding colour combo b4. I googled and did get much,nor got any I liked.

My suggestions
is to get an exercise book and write down all you need to do
and priortise them so write them in order of how soon u need to sort it out!
e.g. week beginning the 15th, this is what I need to do etc. Take one step at a time..but quickly due to time limitation

1.for now, you need to
contact wedding officials: registry, church or mosque of wedding date and ensure its been accepted and book a hall asap. also ur wedding dress; visit for some lovely dresses www.blandyplandy.com/bridals . these 3 asap!

2. then follow ur list and tick as u go along
in addition to what rhukie said: hair, drinks, cake, decoration, bridal train outfit n d couple's,souvenir (?), programme, manicure and pedicure

3. start meeting with vendors and comparing now!. do you want suggestions of vendors to contact? by a moth b4 the wedding, latest u shuld know all d vendors u will use and should have booked them down

4. because its so near, I suggest u get someone to join u in planning, sister, bestfriend etc. or get a planner. if getting others to help, you can do division of labour, e.g let someone else handle the asoebi n co.. to relieve you of stress

Yes they can both wear purple with different styles. But the more elegant dress should be for the MOH like the one that flows more e.g. long dress for MOH and short for bridesmaid..just an example
They can both use yellow shoe, flowers and fascinator

Men can all wear black or grey suit( I prefer black) with purple. Then accessories like tie they can wear purple
Only difference is groom and best man can wear bow tie, then the remaining grooms man can use a long normal purple tie ( or if u can get apurple/yellow stripe tie- so two colour). But groom n best man, plain bow tie

There are various ways to Combine, but one can't think of a combo in isolation. U have to consider how it will all flow, e.g. how the bm will look next to the grooms men n d couple etc and even decoration. So hence why I suggested d above based on all what u said

Yes you can wear purple heels. It's a relatively new trend to wear d colour
If wearing purple heels, ensure ur bouquet has more of purple than yellow( yellow highlights)
It may not show, but it will during photo shoot
