Baba. I stopped supporting United after they sacked David Moyes (yes, you heard read that right). Because of that sacking.

Back then, my stand was (just like SAF said) give the manager time, 2 or 3 seasons. Why? One quick sacking leads to another... and another (like Chelsea). As has been the case since then. No continuity, no stability or consistency.
I posited that with Moyes in charge, things would eventually 'settle' and become 'good'. Maybe not SAF-level good but still okay to challenge and win a few things. This will also ensure that transition between managers is smooth and not destabilizing. Furthermore, I said United has and will always be financially buoyant not to be affected by poor on-field results or trophy-less seasons. Football of today is not like before. The financial aspect is now far removed from the on-field performance aspect. In fact, now sef bad performance generates more headlines which many even utilize on the business side of things.

Of course, as na una know pass... una dey gree reason another person opinion!

You have to understand that this crop of Man Utd players don't compare to ours. Its reason almost every team that made it through to this round wanted to face them. They and Porto to an extent are the weakest of the 8 teams. Apart from De Gea who I believe stand toe to toe with MATS, the others are inferior to every player in our starting line up when matched side by side. Thus, it was expected that if such a game were played 1o times in a row, Barca should come up top no less than 9 times. Reason being we have more quality players and should win irrespective of where the game is played.

However, as expected, our Coach chose the conservative approach as he has been known to do. He showed Man Utd so much respect than deserved. Had he played to full capacity and shown a more positive approach, the tie could have been over from the first.

And rather than rest key players for the weekend game, I won't be surprised if he names a full-strength squad to face Huesca.

Guys be sensible. It could easily have been 2 or 3. Suarez missed a good chance and Roberto messed up 2 good buildups by being hesitant.
