and @poster McCain if you need a good Gsd, check around nairaland you'll find good quality Gsd pups @ good prices but if you are wary of the bloodlines well you can go for the pedigree dogs though they cost way more just as the others have said...it all depends on you bro,if you see the parents of the dogs and you're ok with the quality go for it.....I rest my case

I'm aware of the various bloodlines we have the Czech,Ddr,the west german Gsds,the American showlines and all...and I know the worth of this dogs if they're pedigrees and purebred but i didn't mention a certain bloodline in my comment I was referring to the good looking quality dogs I've seen and come across but then if you say I nothing well I won't argue any further.

And as per the mutts you mentioned
First and foremost,just cos a dog doesn't meet with A.K.C requirements/standard doesn't mean it's not a Gsd (though it might not be 100% pure) an example is the white Gsd, do you know that they're not recognized by A.k.c as Gsds but that doesn't mean they're not, even liver-colored Gsds are being disqualified as they are believed to have/ susceptible to liver issues
Secondly, Do you know how many shepherd dogs were crossed and back-crossed before the Standard for the Gsds were achieved (so that means Gsds are products of mutts?)

In conclusion I'm not against anything you've said about Gsds, but I only gave my suggestion and point of view from my own experience and you should also say yours not condemn mine...And yes maybe sth is wrong with my perception of gsds,you can't enlighten by talking down on me, it's quite unprofessional,if you as a professional think I'm a rookie why not just enlighten me rather than rubbish my perception/concept,I find it very insulting

we have many good quality dogs out there but not all of them are pedigrees....and that serves as a major cause for the variety in prices

Dogs who doesn't have it's papers intact are not regarded as pedigrees, they are referred to as non-pedigrees.....and that's what most people out there have and it doesn't mean they don't have quality dogs or sth,so when you're staying facts in Nigeria here stop using google or whatever,face the reality of what's out there abeg, after all some of you end up selling mixed breeds as pedigree dogs...see don't let me start to share my experience abeg

well as far as I can say,most of the people here find a liking to the muscovy ducks,maybe it's because they've been used to it than the foreign ones....so the demand is good although you can't compare it yet to that of Chicken.
