my itel 1556 suddenly developed a screen misbehavior: you press a point and it responds by pressing another region entirely, the fone is fairly new, i once took it to Carlcare for OS issue b4 and now it is still useless to me. I had been thinking of taking it there again to get professional guaranteed help (without worry of getting other parts damaged as is customary to these Lagos technicians) but the cost has been the bane. How can you help me out sir? From your response so far I have 50% confidence in your expertise in this field.

Hmmm...normally I don't interfere in this kind of issue but all I will say is if you are even considering of using your hard-earned cash to buy "itel" na OYO you dey.

I learned d hard way. Now I have moved up to better phones dat itel can't even think of competing with in the next 3 yrs. Whether it's pocket-friendly or not all they produce is "cheap" poo.

I thought they would have given up producing crap by now.

Their formula is always the same thing

Old battery capacity + 1gb RAM (constant) + Quad core @ 1.3ghz (never changes, unless it goes below sef) + crappy camera (not that i care anyway though) + New OS = New launch

Let's watch out for p51 plus = above (except it's gonna be 2gb RAM) = 56K

I always imagine if itel eventually gets into the big leagues of 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM (minimum) + quality 13mp + 8/5mp front (i don't care too much for this) + octacore (main koko) @ 1.5ghz + 2800 mah and above = what would be the price sef? 150k

Go for what "you" want in a smartphone - they are obviously centered on two things w4 is good display and camera while the l8 lite is battery.

If it's any consolation my phone has good specs and features but with an abysmal 2000 mah. So how am I coping? I simply adapted, I biliv d speed i get compensates for d poor ba3 (it doesn't mean I don't wanna find d people who did it like Jack Bauer finds terrorist and strangle dem o )

Another example is the Almighty Samsung Galaxy S4 and even almost all good high end phones - they never comes with big ba3 above 3000 mah except it's a Note

To conclude my story I think you are the type that likes to stay long on his fone without rushing to charge when you hear ur neighbor's gen. So I hereby recommend tecno l8 lite.

I don't think any android comes with data monitor in the status bar. Viewers pls mind u I said "think". But if you are interested in tweaking status bar, the 1st step is rooting (i just hope it's not 6.0 upward ur android is running sha, even 5.1 is enough headache as it is). Well 2nd step is exposed framework + modules + technical know-how (I recommend YouTube videos.

Lastly for me tweaking isn't a big leap, I started small then I kept thinking of new ways to do it but from experience it can be a fun, dangerous and tiring endeavor sometimes.
