it's with the taste of the user. Not everyone uses stylish font if that's what you're referring to as "not matured" Some fonts are more matured than default fonts.

I changed my font and don't use stylish types like some folks I have seen here.

Checkout fonts like SEGOE, HelveticaNueu Con57, ITCAvantGarde, Futura, Gill Sans etc.

Those are kinds of fonts I shuffle on... They aid clarity on my device.

No font is better than "default". It makes your phone interface look mature.

I disagree again with both points. Point 1 is your assumption that other countries don't change font (even if it common to Nigerians, it is not a crime)

Point 2 is your own opinion.

I'm not saying this to cause any problems, I prefer other fonts than default (cos it helps me to read better and ultimately beautify the device)

Good Day Nairalanders. please help me out because I think I am losing my mind here. so I saw a HP 15 laptop on sale at the tune of 66k (attached is the link

According to him, His company Netfame Marketing Concept were running a clearance sale to clear their goods from their warehouse, which made them slash the price by 5O% (resulting to the price of 66k). I googled the company online and I saw their presence on vconnect and Jumia so I thought they were genuine.

He told me I could deposit the sum to his bank account with the following details and it would be delivered as he has an agent coming to Ilorin.

Bank Name: Diamond Bank
Account Name: Netfame Marketing Concept
Account Number: 7783113629

He told me that there's option for part payment and full payment, where full payment would attract 1O% discount. I didn't buy the idea of full payment so I went with half payment. Reason Being that he told me that I can balance the agent later.

After payment was made, he said his dispatch agent left lokoja around past 11 and should be in Ilorin by 6:3O. I decided to wait while going about my daily business.

it was close to 6pm and I didnt hear anything from the agent nor mommodu. I called the agent several times but he didn't pick my calls. Mommodu delayed in picking but he told me he would get back to me. since then, he didn't pick my call no more. it was not until when I used my brother's phone to call him that I knew it was a sham. His number is 08166563929.

This made me realize... I had been had! Jiji claims nothing can be done in event of such ordeals. What if jiji connive with these scammers to reap us all off. This is just terrible. My only consolation is that I didn't pay full price and God will replace what was lost.

My brother I sympathize with you (I know that won't bring back the cash though). I was a victim of one those guys too (mhen their lies are authentic, smooth-talking "decepticons" )

Anyway here are the facts: Jiji is only an advert site, so they (or it) has nothing to do with the scam

* it has been stated clearly that no buyer should pay in advance

* the cash is non-refundable, so forget it (leave that part to God) and MOVE ON

Advice: Never ever pay anyone for online transactions b4 delivery (too risky), and let me add that you should try to avoid deals that looks too good to be true e.g "Neat Samsung S8 for sale @ 80k, avoid any talks about part-payment too and lastly do background check on the person's profile - check his related post and see how long he or she is registered (if he claims he is affiliated with big companies but it says he's only registered for 2 or 3 days, my brother caveat emptor!

I noticed that my dad's 4000mAh battery lasts longer than mine (4000mAh too) and I use laptop to charge at times so I don't know if that's the cause

75 views and no response? Either people are dodging attacks after comments or they just don't wanna talk. Anyway here's my opinion; without going into much geeky stuff about the amperes your phone takes to charge, chargers generate specific level of power ranging from 250mA(or below) to 2.4A (or above). So the higher it is the faster it charges (mind you if your battery capacity is not really up to 3000mah and above or uses fast charging [which still applies to 3000mah & above], I would say it's a waste of effort buying a charger above 1A cos it won't take above that level or probably doesn't need it). That being said laptop USB port are designed specifically for data transfer: flash drive, memory card (card reader) or direct connection with a device and although, it will be charging simultaneously but it won't be charging really fast at all except it's a Nokia Torchlight.
One thing (that I noticed) with smartphone is when you use lower power-generating source (a.k.a charger heads) to charge it tends to weaken the battery life and in this case pc is one of those slow-charging source. Let me point out too that the type of USB used plays a major role too: we have the silver pin and gold pin, the latter is the best to use.

I say conclusively that any smartphone that has above 3000mah battery capacity needs it "follow-come" charger or good power banks (some might argue that power banks does the same harm as pc, I will reserve my comment on that) or a good charger that meets the same specs of the "follow-come" or slightly above wouldn't do any harm; let's say if you have 1.8A charger, getting 2.1A isn't bad (so far the battery capacity needs it (I say again 3000mah above, especially for 5000mah like homtom HT50 has and 6000mah like the Partner mobile ps 2 or the gretel GT6000. Pls don't think itel is among them o, I'm yet to see any of their devices with high ba3 capacity that has fast charging feature)

So the summary of my essay is "Yes, charging a fone with laptop or desktop weakens ba3 (or spoil if you prefer that term).

Oh i guessed as much. That xposed has lots of options in it. I just got a new phone and its not rooted and still contemplating whether to root it or not. And even if i wanna root it, dunno the best way to go about it...Its running Android 7.0

Mhen I hate 7.0 os o (difficult to root for now) but if is MTK device there are certain maneuvers that may work for you. Google the process and still ask experts to show you how...you might get lucky!
