Count us Out of Your Problems with Buhari, Atiku/Okowa Campaign Tells Tinubu

The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization has told the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to count it out of his manifest problems with President Muhammadu Buhari resulting in his continued attack and pouring of vitriolic on the person of Mr President.

The Campaign says it is indeed pathetic that in less than 24 hours after Tinubu stood on the public stage at his Presidential Rally in Abeokuta, Ogun State, to accuse the Buhari administration of creating fuel scarcity and redesigning the naira to scuttle the 2023 election, he is turning around to blame the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for his woes.

Is it not strange that Asiwaju Tinubu wants the world to believe that his caustic remarks against Buhari where intended for Atiku Abubakar and the PDP when neither Atiku nor PDP is involved in the monetary policies or the failure to arrest the horrifically unending fuel crisis.

It is important to remind Asiwaju Tinubu that in accusing the “powers that be” of creating fuel scarcity and hoarding the naira to truncate the election, he knew that President Buhari is the Minister of Petroleum Resources and that all agencies of government in charge of prospecting and distribution of petroleum resources are under his (Buhari) office.

Asiwaju also knew that President Buhari approved the redesigning of the naira and that issues of distribution of the naira notes are vested on the APC-controlled Federal Government and not on the PDP.

It is therefore clear that Asiwaju’s verbal assaults against President Buhari is the official position of his confused, disoriented and disorganized Campaign Organization.

It is noteworthy that having come to the conclusion, by himself, that he does not enjoy the support of President Buhari, having realized that his campaign is now falling apart with its leaders leaving in droves given his manifest rejection by Nigerians, Asiwaju Tinubu now seeks to blackmail the President and incite his followers to violence, with the view of truncating the electoral process and blaming it on President Buhari.

This further explains why Asiwaju Tinubu had set up the dangerous militia group, code-named the Jagaban Army, which is reportedly being trained and equipped to unleash violence on Nigerians and truncate the electoral process, having realized that there is no way he can win in a free, fair and credible election.

Asiwaju Tinubu had always sought to exonerate himself and blame only President Buhari for the failure of the APC administration in spite of the fact that he (Tinubu) is behind the corruption ridden policies of the APC government that have brought untold hardships on Nigerians in the last seven and half years.

His verbal somersaults within a space of less than 24 hours presents him as a person that must not be entrusted with power.

Since Asiwaju Tinubu wants Nigerians to believe that he is fighting for their course, he will need to respond to some of these troubling questions;

What has he done as a loaf of bread which sold at N300 in 2015 now sells for N1000 under the APC administration which he claimed to have brought into power?

What has he done to encourage or alleviate the sufferings of Nigerians as kerosene which was being sold at N150 in 2015 is now selling for over N1000.

What advise has Asiwaju Tinubu given to the Federal Government to save the situation as a bag of rice which sold for N8000 in 2015 went up to N46, 000 under his APC?
The list is endless!

Asiwaju Tinubu's politics had always been about "self and the cabal" who never cared for Nigerians or the success of the government he claimed to have brought to power.

He should therefore leave the PDP and its Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar alone and face his self-inflicted woes.

On our side, the Atiku/Okowa Campaign will not be distracted by Asiwaju Tinubu but will continue to focus on rallying with Nigerians in their determination to vote in Atiku Abubakar as the next President of Nigeria so that he can commence the onerous task of rebuilding our nation from the misrule of the APC.

Atiku/Okowa Campaign Mourns Plateau PDP Accident Victims
…Says Their Death Shall Never Be in Vain

The Atiku/Okowa Campaign Organization deeply mourns the victims of the tragic motor accident in which no fewer that 16 members and supporters of our Party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who went to campaign, lost their lives in Panyam in Plateau State.

Our Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, his running mate, Sen. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa and the entire PDP Presidential Campaign Organization are deeply sorrowful at this moment over the death of these committed compatriots who lost their lives while striving with other patriots in the mission to rescue our dear nation from misrule.

The campaign sympathies with the families of these great Nigerians who have sacrificed their lives to enable our nation attain her goal of a better country where all will be happy.

Indeed, their death will never be in vain as the goal which they sought and lost their lives in the process will certainly be attained on February 25, 2023.

We supplicate for the repose of the souls of the beloved dead and prays to God to grant their families the fortitude to bear the loss.

Our Campaign identifies with the injured in their pain and prays to God to grant all of them peaceful recovery.

*Southwest Council Of Political Technocrats Endorses Atiku For President*

Ahead of 2023 general elections, Southwest Council of Political Technocrats (SWCPTs) in her 17th General Meeting, on Tuesday, has adopted Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as their choice presidential candidate.

In a statement signed by the Director of Government and Public Affairs, Prince Kehinde OLOKE, said the group rose from their general meeting to adopt the candidature of Atiku Abubakar, considering the experience and Pan-Nigerian in him.

He said, “Though it was rough and tough but eventually Atiku got the endorsement.”

Dragging Buhari into Campaigns Can't Help You, Atiku/Okowa Campaign Mocks Tinubu

The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organisation mocks the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for seeking to drag President Mohammadu Buhari into his campaign with the aim to use him (Buhari) to launder his (Tinubu’s) stained image.

It is indeed ludicrous that Asiwaju Tinubu who is badgered with narcotic and many corruption allegation stains is now seeking President Buhari’s presence in his campaign after he had boastfully claimed that he (President Buhari) had no political relevance and could not become President until he (Tinubu) came to his rescue.

Nigerians watched as Tinubu's publicity derided, scorned and disparaged President Buhari and even demonstrated how, according to him, President Buhari cried after losing election thrice until he (Tinubu) picked him up, wiped his tears and made him President.

Nigerians are therefore wondering what roles Tinubu, who disparaged Buhari as not having political weight, now wants President Buhari to play in the campaign for which he is forcefully dragging him to the arena, if not to smear Mr. President with his putrid stains.

Nigerians are wondering what President Buhari, with his professed aversion to corruption and drug related issues, will be saying while presenting Asiwaju Tinubu to the electorate in rallies, if he ever does.

Will President Buhari be explaining to Nigerians the link the APC Presidential Candidate had with narcotics for which a Court of competent jurisdiction in the United States of America ordered the forfeiture of a gargantuan sum of $460,000 found in Tinubu’s account as proceeds of illicit transactions?

Will Buhari be apologising to Nigerians for approving, as a military Head of State, the execution of a set of Nigerians for a drug-related offence only to now be presenting someone that forfeited money in a narcotic-related matter as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria?

Does President Buhari have answers to the malodourous issues of perjury, certificate forgery and inconsistencies in age, educational qualification and ancestry that are plaguing Asiwaju Tinubu or has President Buhari any explanation on who Asiwaju’s classmate were at the Government College, Ibadan or at the non-existent Aroloya primary school?

Will President Buhari provide explanation for how the picture of former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke, was stolen and used to fraudulently depict Tinubu as a bright young man in APC Presidential Campaign documentary?

It has become clear that Asiwaju Tinubu, who does not believe in President Buhari’s political currency and relevance is dragging President Buhari into his deflated campaign as a decoy to transfer his corruption and criminal allegation burdens on Mr. President.

It is however imperative that the APC Presidential candidate should know that it is too late in the day to stage such a political stunt given that his image has gone beyond redemption.

He must learn to face his woes by personally providing answers for the allegations after which he should apologize to Nigerians and quit the Presidential race, since the people have already reached a consensus on his rejection at the polls.

Nigerians are not willing to compromise their determination to rescue our nation by voting in the Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, whose credentials of integrity, hard work, capacity, relevant experience, presence of mind and readiness to deliver have distinguished him to lead our nation at this critical time.

Obj’s Wish on Obi Is Personal Opinion, Does not Reflect the Wishes of Majority of Nigerians, says Atiku/Okowa Campaign
…Insists Atiku Still Most Widely Accepted Candidate

The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization says the subjective support for the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, by former President Olusegun Obasanjo is his personal wish which does not reflect the opinion or position of overwhelming majority of Nigerians across the country.

While former President Obasanjo is entitled to his personal opinion; as remarkable as it may appear, it remains individualistic and cannot redirect Nigerians from their determination to rally with the more experienced, more proficient and more accepted Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, to rescue and rebuild our nation from the APC misrule.

What is surprising to majority of Nigerians is that in the face of the alarming challenges facing the nation, which requires a tried and tested hand, former President Obasanjo is suggesting a candidate that has not had any experience in governance at the national level.

In any case, Chief Obasanjo’s opinion cannot sway Nigerians who can easily remember how he endorsed President Muhammadu Buhari, whose administration, he (Obasanjo) now describes as “stressful years for many Nigerians,” during which our nation “moved from frying pan to fire and from mountain top to the valley.”

It is therefore be extremely difficult for Nigerians, particularly the youth demography, to accept Chief Obasanjo’s opinion as the solution to the myriad of challenges facing the nation today because the last candidate he introduced, by his own estimation, failed Nigerians.

Our campaign holds that none of the Presidential candidates has the experience, capacity, tenacity of purpose, presence of mind and readiness to serve like Atiku Abubakar.

Atiku remains the most widely accepted candidate, whose choice is not predicated by sectional, tribal, ethnic or religious sentiments or the endorsement of any individual, high or low, but by record of ability and performance, authentic vision, honesty and character; physical and mental capacity; the very indices set by the former President.

It is instructive to state that every claim by former President Obasanjo on the success of his administration is a reflection of the performance of Atiku Abubakar as his Vice President and Chairman of the National Economic Council during which our nation achieved unprecedented economic growth to become one of the fastest growing economies in the world.

It therefore amounts to a disservice for the former President to make subjective suggestion even when it is clear that if a hand like Atiku Abubakar with their shared experience is brought to the forefront of governance, our nation will be rescued from this current sullen state

Our Campaign therefore urges Nigerians not to be distracted by subjective opinions but to remain focused on the resolve to salvage our dear nation by electing Atiku Abubakar as the next President of Nigeria, come February 25, 2023.
