For a faster route to getting a residence permit. Ireland 🇮🇪 is a nice place to start. 4 year you get your resident permit and a year later you get Irish passport. All in 5years. Concering getting married first. I my personal opinion, I will advice you hold that thought in mind d and relocate first as a single person. Why? Because even with your savings and crypto business., it's really stressful the first year before settling but if you are single you can manage your affairs well. Wish you all the best in life. Keep growing on low key. |
Though I agree that things are very hard in the country at the moment but the planning and renovation permit is done almost every where in the world. Like in UK and some EU countries..if you want to change your roof, window, external doors 🚪..even sometimes they as for existing and proposed architectural drawings, just for changing the type of building components. But you can do renovation inside the house without necessarily getting a permit. |
BRICS member India finalized a major trade partnership with Nigeria on Friday switching away from the US dollar. Both countries will use local currencies in the bilateral trade agreement for energy, pharmaceuticals, and transport sectors. India and Nigeria have agreed to cooperate and settle trade in local currencies and not the US dollar. However, the local currency in question is yet to be finalized and could be either the Indian rupee or the Nigerian naira. The agreement comes at a time when BRICS is looking to uproot the US dollar as the world’s reserve currency. https://watcher.guru/news/brics-india-nigeria-finalize-major-partnership-ditching-us-dollar

https://thewillnigeria.com/news/president-deby-leads-troops-to-burst-boko-haram-warehouse/ – Chad’s President Idris Deby, as the commander in Chief of the armed forces, just displayed one of his powers as he, on the 2nd of April 2020, took the initiative to lead his army in a very delicate operation. The operation was targeted at Boko haram, to totally eliminate 76 boko Haram terrorists in “Operation Boma Anger”. The operation was in retaliation for an attack by boko haram which took the lives of 92 Chadian soldiers. Mr. Idris Deby, following the attack vowed that he will not accept defeat until justice is served. “I will not accept defeat” he said. Well the president’s dream and determination to resist the oppressor and combat terrorism has been fulfilled today as Chadian troops burst into one warehouse of boko haram, confiscating all their troops by the president’s command. Many across the continent have applauded him for this brave gesture, to lead the forefront to counter terrorism.

The plot to kill Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau, by his own men is getting intense. According to The Nation, the hierarchy of the two terrorist groups, Boko Haram and the Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP), no longer place their trust in Shekau. The struggle for supremacy among the two major terror groups operating in the North East is also a factor in the race to eliminate Abubakar Shekau. The source quoted by The Nation, said many of the Boko Haram and ISWAP Commanders have been killed as a result of infighting among the insurgents. It was also reported that a fresh crisis hit the terrorists’ camps after the extermination of Muhammad Shuwa, Abu – Mossad Albarnawee and Baa Idirisa on February 9, 2020. The death of these two top commanders, the source said has deepened the suspicion and distrust in Shekau’s camp. He disclosed further that most of Shakau’s key Commanders and fighters had deserted him and are secretly planning to execute him. According to the source, “key Commanders under the leadership of Mallam Bakura have been constantly planning to kill Shekau because of his high handedness, erratic disposition, mental imbalance and non-adherence to pristine Islamic tenets or the original BHTs’ doctrine and Ideology. “They further accused him of serial clandestine killings of some terrorists Commanders that he viewed as threats to his despotic leadership. Also, it was revealed that Shekau has an uncontrollable mad desire for women including his fellow jihadists’ women and daughters”. ALSO READ: Shariah council dares Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau to come out from hiding All these the source said have “increasingly alienated him from some of the high profile Commanders that are now surreptitiously planning to eliminate him. It is just a matter of time that Shekau will be no more. The Source added that “the latest information from though yet to be confirmed is that Shekau has been eliminated by his detractors who are averse to his inordinate lust for raping women and under-aged girls including those married to his fellow jihadists fighters. His penchant for the use of girl child for suicide bombings has been a great issue of concern in the terrorists’ camp. “The major point of disagreement between the two camps lies in what a source described as Anti-Islamic activities and indiscriminate killing of people whether moslem or Christians, children or adults including raping women who are married or unmarried. “These problems are compounded because of the increasing operational activities of Nigerian troops and the multinational Joint Taskforce in Northern Borno State

People are saying some heads of state decided not to attend the World Economic Forum; we should be talking about why this whole thing is coinciding with that. Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula, South Africa’s Defence Minister, on Monday said that the attacks against foreigners including Nigerians in South Africa were planned by criminals and that government can’t prevent it. Mapisa-Nqakula, who said this in an interview with eNCA, a local television channel, described South Africa as an angry nation and insisted that the government can’t prevent the ongoing violence. She said, “The reality is that we have an angry nation. What’s happening can never be prevented by any government. “People are saying some heads of state decided not to attend the World Economic Forum; we should be talking about why this whole thing is coinciding with that. “People are saying it is xenophobic attacks but it is not the first time, we have had them in the past. “We have criminals that have read the situation and are aware that we have challenges right now. “We have talked on the issues of high rate of unemployment, of some foreign nationals who are not conducting themselves in an appropriate manner as we would expect, those breaking the bylaws of the country, and you now have criminal elements who have decided that we are going to use all of those things to find reasons to attack people. “It is unfortunate and should not happen. The reality is that we need to have a serious dialogue about what is happening and we must take responsibility. The reality is that we are an angry nation and we must talk about it.”

The Army spokesman alleged that Mohammed’s statement could be part of a deliberate attempt to demoralise patriotic troops serving their fatherland so that the terrorists can take advantage of it. “It is also a way of swaying the gullible youths to believe the lies of Boko Haram terrorists,’’ Musa added. He, however, assured Nigerians that the Army would remain resolute and focused in the fight against terrorism and insurgency, adding, “No amount of distraction or terrorists’ propaganda will dissuade it.’’ Mohammed had lamented that Boko Haram has been hijacked and operates like a cartel. “I will give you an example. The Nigerian military, for example, gets N1,000 per day for being in the Northeast, at the war front, as an allowance — the same Northeast, where if you are a member of Boko Haram you get $3,000 per day, as allowance. So it is lucrative. Sometimes, they even give you money upfront. So, we must do something about the youths from where they are recruiting,” Mohammed was quoted to have said.

Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Raji Fashola, on Thursday, said that the ministry recovered 690 out of 800 containers of electricity equipment abandoned at the port for 10 years by previous administrations. Fashola said this at the commissioning of 2×100MVA – 132/33kv power transformers at Ejigbo Transmission Substation in Lagos. The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Ejigbo Transmission Substation was commissioned in 1970 with an installed capacity 60MVA, comprising two number of 30MVA 132/33kv transformers. In August 2017, the capacity of the station was increased to 120MVA with the addition of a 60MVA transformer. Fashola said that the present administration inherited 800 containers for power equipment left in the port. President Muhammadu Buhari gave us the approval to use it and we have recovered 690. “This is part of the equipment you are seeing going into substations that Transmission Company of Nigeria’s engineers used to increase substation’s capacity. “With this expansion, the additional feeders will serve communities like Ejigbo, Idimu, Oke-Afa, Egbe, Shasha. “Also, Murtala Airport will also see improved power services,” he said. Fashola said that transmission expansion work was going on in 90 locations across the country. Mr Usman Mohammed, Chief Executive Officer of TCN, said the project was funded by the World bank through TCN Project Management Unit. |
