The guys killing each other are neighbours living in same area for decades. The conflict is complex. It's most ethnic in the first instance, before it metamorphoses to religious. If you're not familiar with the conflict, it's better you keep quiet until you research the facts.

There is nothing to be confused about.
Naira is as worthless as a shhit of paper.
Anyone with a tangible amount of money from one million upwards should be wise and save in dollars/euros/pounds
Even if there is a temporal crash, it will definitely go up again.

Nigeria's currency problems is age-long, endemic and cannot be solved with a magic wand.

It will take a long time, hard work, and a serious government to make naira valuable.

As for now, naira is just for trading and spending, not for saving.
