An alumnus of Lautech also and currently running my msc at oau. You get no problem having finished wt strong GP. As for transcript what I did for my application was to make a fotocopy of the student's copy of transcript given by the dpt during our final clearance (I don't know if you were also given), I submitted that at dpt with other needed docs. I only applied for a new copy of transcript which was sent to PG college, but I had earlier gone to PG college to submit other docs and informed them that my transcript would be sent to them; they will handle all ur docs as soon ur transcript arrives, but you can always go there to confirm or monitor the progress of ur application on the portal.
Note that I used my student transcript because lautech refused to give the transcripts out by hand but only sent to the address by courier servces, so I couldn't make the fotocopy and wouldn't want to make anoda request knowing dpt only needs fotocopy. If you are lucky to get ur own requested transcript by hand, u may not bother urxef about using student's copy of transcript which I used.

Supporting docs you may need with ur transcript;
1. Statement of results.
2. NYSC discharge cert.
3. Your application label/page that bears ur foto nd other details on the portal (I'm not too sure about its name).
4. O'level
5. Passports. (Don't know how many copies)
Each of these docs together wt ur transcript will be submitted at PG college and dpt in big brown envelope. Essentially, PG takes original transcript. Hope your inquisition has been allayed.

drimpeccable: Please, I'm having issues with the payment section. I bought #100,000 worth of tution cards (2 cards of #50,000 denomination) to pay the minimum deposit of #99,965. After loading both cards at about 5:23am this morning, the site is showing this message; 'Your unused/available balance is NGN100,000. To complete payment, you need a total of NGN99,965. You need to load additional NGN-35'. What can I do to continue with registration because the 'Register Courses' link is still unavailable despite the sufficient payment I made?

I suggest u inform them at PG college. Meanwhile, don't register any course until you are sure of the courses you will take.

Is there anyone from chemical engineering?

abiggy: @Saint. You will write a letter to the provost, pg college through your HOD, stating the reasons and include any proof. You will pay acceptance fee and a deferment fee of 5k, totalling 25k

Hello house, please does anyone knw the steps involved in deferment. Do all these fees have to be paid? Or only acceptance? Anyone that can give rudimentary analysis is appreciated.

twosquare: Am in Arts : 87+(plus acceptance)... so i guess we just minus 20k(acceptance) from it that will give us 2nd semester fees. 87k+67k=154k....unless am wrong....it may be more than 120k for this first yr(session) of ours

Fees like deferment, change of course (u may not pay dem if not affected), library, pg publication, registration, sport levy and TSHIP are still payed at once also; though these fees are quite negligible.

These fees aint smiling at all. Over 200k for 4-semester prog in chemical engn.
I pray I'm not right with my calculation.

It shld be sent by my sch, bt now my transcript request is stl hanging since august.....I'm confused here, make OAU pls chill till afta Nasu strike 0000
