That's the sad news! Why would they care? Christians are the ones being disbanded from their fatherland and there is 95% chance they will not lift a hand against their oppressors. Therefore they should either convert, pay tax to the muslims, leave the land or die! Their sacred places are being. Blown up and the black ISIS flag raised in it's stead yet no one cares. We are watching the so called religion of peace.

Now, all in all, nothing that I've read so far tells me when the church that Jesus founded became corrupted. As far as I can tell Foxe is a man immersed in the Wars of Religion that were tearing Europe apart at the time and his account of things cannot really be seen as anything other than propaganda. That is not to say that nasty things weren't done to protestants by Catholics and Church of England-ers, but that the facts would have been presented in a biased way, and there would obviously be no mention made of the atrocities of the Protestants.

It is very possible. I once attended sunday mass without missing a single sunday mass or being late for mass for three consecutive years. It's all about determination. If you make going to church a part of you, you can do it, that's if no unavoidable circumstance stops you.

Umm I don't think God killing the first-borns of Egyptians is same as Hamas killing people, it wasn't israelis that took up arms to kill the Egyptian neither was it God that first fire Hamas rocket into Israel. So we can't begin to compare them. Though if we decide to go religiously, we keep talking of how God has severally help israel in the past either to defeat their enemies or to gather them back to their land when they are carried away into exile, but honestly I don't like viewing the Israeli-Gaza war from a religious view point. To me its more of political or civil than religious.

There was a temporal humanitarian ceasefire for 12hrs yesterday following the plea from the international community, israel accepted to extend it by four hours to give Gazans more time to get the things they need, I was surprised the Hamas were somewhat pushing against the 4hrs extension even when they knew it was for the good of the Gazans, and someone want me to believe the Hamas have the good of the Gazans at heart?

I was having sex every time knowing fully well it was a sin but not bothered because I knew I only had to go and tell the priest about it and my slate is wiped clean.
My girlfriend used to ask me if I had gone to confession and it was very reassuring for her to hear that our previous act has been absolved before we start again. Infact the only worry we had then is dying before our next confession and having to spend a few centuries in purgatory. Hell was not for us.
I am now beginning to wonder what type of all knowing god will keep forging a sin over and over again knowing fully well that you intend to keep sinning? It can only be a mugu god. If god was a bank manager, his bank would be broke because you just have to go back every week and take more loan with a promise that you will pay back but never do.
The catholic god is a god that encourages sin through confessions and the ease of forgiveness and the promise of purgatory.
So my people, if you must remain a xtian, be a catholic. You will enjoy this life better.

It's possible the Catholic church you attend is different from the one we all know or maybe you didn't understand what you were taught.

If you are confessing with the intention willingly committing thesame sin again, you better go back home because you are simply wasting your time.

Anyway, I am Catholic and am yet to see where the mother church teaches that "not being married is the most Godly path" rather she teaches that celibacy is a Godly act. Maybe you should prove me wrong.

However I know that the bible teaches that being unmarried is better than being married.

So the man who marries does well, but the one who doesn't marry does even better 1 Cor 7:38.

So I think it's not just what the church teaches but also the Bible.
