Today my grandpa was laid to a peaceful rest after 101 years sojourn on earth

One day, out of curiosity, I asked him where lies the secret to a gracious long life like the one he was enjoying. He simply told me in a shaky voice to live an honest life. He added that I should always stand for the truth no matter where the majority is standing but I should be ready to become their enemies. He also said that I should always remember the needy and open my hands to them.

May his gentle soul rest in peace. Amen. And may we all live longer......Amen

Well maybe am just imagining things, but the outcome of the synod seems to have been clear even before it starts, if the major issue to be discussed is thesame which Cardinal Muller and. Kesper has been more like debating on and the Pope happens to have been in line with cardinal Kesper, then this synod might just be to cement the "pro communion for the divorced and re-married Catholics' supporters" that why I said let God's will be done.
