To all those teachers who are supporting Wike, I hope Wike has paid you your March Salary already? |
mamadumi:Is it the first time you are paid? |
ikem50:Reconciliation between who and who? |
ikem50:I really feel for those who were paid just 28K, and others whose deductions were up to 115K. I hope something will be done about it urgently |
Any news from ministry of finance regarding the short-payments? |
wealthyprince:What do u mean by reverse ke? Some body was paid just 28,000 naira. So you want the person to just forget about the rest, i.e over 198k? They are doing something about it and the discrepancies will be corrected. If we give them till Sunday and nothing happens, then you will see riot at Ministry of finance by Monday |
odeyiB:Maybe they'll send the balance later. Let's watch how they'll handle this. Because apparently while some where shortpaid, some where overpaid. Someone even received 500K. So they'll do book balancing later. |
Okjay:I think they are just testing the waters. |
Information reaching me now is that we should not touch the salaries, that they will reverse it and send the correct amount. |
22,000 naira deducted from my salary. But why? |
kayusely70:With or without FAAC, SIM will pay you. Expect your pay from Wednesday |

Since about 10:30 am that Zenith bank got their 100K, no other bank has received. What is going on? |
Unity Bank alert seen with 6,815 naira deduction. But what for? |
FAAC: FG, States, LGs Share N1.7tn November Revenue – Info Daily https://infodailyng.com/faac-fg-states-lgs-share-n1-7tn-november-revenue/ |
Unity bank alert received. New minimum wage sighted. Slightly over 85,000 naira added to my salary. Glory be to God. Thank God for compensating Rivers people with a good hearted governor like Sim Fubara |
daddy001:Did they withhold Rivers State's share? |
They should better stop letting workers go through stress by delaying their salaries. When the minimum wage starts dropping, everyone should receive theirs at the appropriate time, and not having to wait. The banks and ministry of finance should do better |
23Ju:Did you know other States enjoyed extra 30,000 naira for six months before kicking off minimum wage? Did SIM pay you that money? |
Unity bank salary alert positive |
1st October is approaching. If it were the good old days they will do everything possible to please Nigerians in order to have something rich to add to the independent day address. Now they don't really care. Otherwise I expect every governor to pay the new minimum wage this September. But I believe every template they are now using against Nigerians has an expiry date. |
Unity bank alert. Old salary |
teejaymmm:Why do you feel people don't prepare for rainy days? Do you think this salary lasts a day in people's hand? And when it finishes how do they survive? The data they use in staying active on social media and nairaland is it still from the salary? Lolz. People got their lives figured out. Don't underrate anyone ooo |
gold360:Someone said he overheard Wike boys jubilating that they suspended Rivers allocation, which is not true. The person was reacting to my insinuations that the delay in salary may be because Sim want to implement some of those FG salary increment directives such as, min. wage etc. But I later heard from another Wike camp member that the jubilation was for the suspension of payment of LGA allocation to caretaker chairmen. Nothing to fear. Our salary will start entering from today |

I just confirmed Wike boys are celebrating suspension of payment of LGA allocation to Caretaker Chairmen, and not State allocation |

How is that even possible? But why is it not on the news if that is true? I no believe those Wike boys story |
This delay in salaries payment could be a good omen. Because on a normal settings, today is an ideal day for Zenith bank report as well as other banks. It could be one of these, any two or all three: 1. 25% / 35% increment 2. 30,000 naira wage award 3. 70 K minimum wage If you overheard anything, as per why the salary is delayed, pls share with us |
gold360:Exactly my point |
gold360:Now listen, your first salary was based on 18K minimum wage, and upon announcement of 30K minimum wage, many months later an amount about 18K representing 60% of 30K, was added to your salary as 30k minimum wage implementation. And the higher your level, the lower the amount you get out of the minimum wage. Now that it's 70k, if we are to get 60% of 70k, after their adjustment, that is 42K. So my point is valid. Anyone here who raises their hope above 50K will chop breakfast when they see their alert. |
gold360:How much does a Federal civil servant on level 8/4 earn, based on the 30K minimum wage? Just 73K per month. The 30K was for those on grade level 1. So the adjustment is right from the salaries and wages commission and it affect FG workers on higher grade level. I repeat, in this 70K regime, no senior staff should expect an addition of more than 50K |
