The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has shared a total sum of N1,088.783 trillion November 2023 Federation Account Revenue to the Federal, States and Local Governments.

As contained in a communique issued by the FAAC at its December, 2023 meeting, the N1,088.783 trillion total distributable revenue comprised distributable statutory revenue of N376.306 billion, distributable Value Added Tax (VAT) revenue of N335.656 billion, Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL) revenue of N11.952 billion and Exchange Difference revenue of N364.869 billion.

According to the communique, total revenue of N1,620.335 trillion was available in the month of November 2023.

With this figure, they should be able to pay the 35K subsidy palliative, 13th month and Christmas bonus

The information I just received now is that the arrears payment has been suspended due to some teachers (SSSB) who protested against the toking demanded by a Zonal Board director for collection of their payslips.
Did anyone heard the same? Someone should please check and confirm the veracity of this information. Thank you.

This is SSSB problem. It won't affect UBE

Let's not forget, they only implemented promotions which was long overdue. They are yet to effect salary increments to take care of the hardships faced by workers as a result of the removal of fuel subsidy and naira floatation. Let them not think that they can use this promotion to replace the salary increments. They should do the needful as no doubt, these recent policies have given them more money.

A good leader should not be insensitive to the plight of his people. The devastating impacts of fuel subsidy removal and naira devaluation on the citizenry is common knowledge. Prices of every goods and services have gone out of hand.

While we appreciate his excellency SIM, and thank him for promoting workers and implementing it immediately, something which his predecessors failed to do, he should be aware that the workers are still expecting palliative to cushion the negative effects of recent FG policies.

What was added to everyone's salary was about 53,000 naira.

If the difference between your new and your old is not up to 53,000 naira, then you can proceed to the appropriate quarters to register your complaint. Unless you are on contributory pension deductions as someone pointed out.

Some UBE staff were not paid the promotion last month. They complained and it has been rectified. Those who were shortpaid and complained, nothing was done

usually govt places a premium value on Mondays for works and if banks pay on Mondays, it will disrupt working activities in offices as workers will be leaving to get cash and do other financial transactions on Mondays, this is the reason why payment aint made usually on Mondays

What's with banks and Mondays? I don't understand. I thought Saturdays and Sundays transactions are automated?
