We are looking to hire the service of an Inventory/Quality Control Officer Location: Isolo, Lagos Job Title: Inventory/Quality Control Officer Job Summary: The Inventory/Quality Control Officer is responsible for overseeing the efficient management of inventory, quality control, store and supplies essential for daily operations. This role involves maintaining accurate stock levels, Quality control checks,coordinating with production staff, marketing staff and other Warehouse manager at various locations in ensuring the availability of products. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and control Store/inventory levels of In bound and out bound of products and production materials essential for daily operations. - Ensure SON Quality control compliance - Implement Store/inventory control procedures to minimize waste of production materials and damaged products - Ensure production policy and procedures is adhered to - Prepare necessary documents for NAFDC and other regulatory body - Work closely with production officer by timely giving out production materials for the days production - Route, schedule, pack and prepare orders for delivery - Supervise the loading of vehicle for delivery - Ensure daily production and warehouse is clean and ready for the days job - check dispensed cans for production randomly - Observe health and safety regulations - prepare and maintain variety of records. - Daily update of stock cards - Keeping proper record of delivery notes - Perform daily inspection of the warehouse - Timely giving out products to marketers - Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipments - Daily vehicle checks - maintaining Attendance records and give daily report - Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. - Negotiate favorable terms with vendors and seek cost-effective sourcing options. - Verify the quality and quantity of goods received and address discrepancies promptly. - Collaborate with production officer to schedule regular equipment inspections and repairs. - Utilize inventory management to track and update product availability. - Generate daily reports inventory and stock levels Qualifications: Degree in B.sc Bio Chemistry or science reated course Previous experience in inventory/Quality Control management Strong knowledge of safety regulations Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in using excel and word Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic office environment.
